If you guys need to move it to Thursday I say go for it.
inre: the start time. Well, glow in the summertime obviously has to be late at night. That may also hurt your attendance, but if you really want to play at night then that's what you have to do. I know I personally could not do glow if it started at 8:00 or 8:30, that's just too late for me.
I've looked at it like this: I play glow out of necessity. I would prefer to play in the daytime, but during the winter months to play during the week (for us 9 to 5ers) it has to be after dark.
This league can be whatever you make it. During the summer it could be a regular daytime league that starts at 6:30 and gets a decent attendance. Hell, you could even move it to Indy Lake for Thursday evenings. Then shift back to Bandy and glow it up when the days get shorter. Or you could keep pushing the start time back and play true nighttime golf. It's totally up to the players and the league coordinators involved.
That said, my vote is to move it to Thursdays, start at 6:30 at Indy Lake and be a regular doubles league for a few months. :)
