Greetings Competitors,
2 rounds down, 1 to go.
I have posted tee-times for tomorrow. PLEASE take note of your tee-times tonight, and keep an eye on them first thing in the morning in-case we have any drops / movement and have to do some shuffling.
For this final round, I made specific adjustments to lag times for cards based off 4 & 3 top speeds and general pace of play. This is of particular note at Brighton, and I'm hoping that it will allow for faster pace of play for tomorrow's round.
This means that card separation is not uniform, so again - check your tee-times.
PLAYOFFS:
In the event of a TIE FOR 1st PLACE in any division, a playoff will ensue.
If players are playing off for 2nd or 3rd place trophies, they may decide as a group how they would like to determine how to break their tie - but it will not affect payouts - only trophy reception. Coin flips, CTPs, Rock Paper Scissors, or a classic playoff all work just fine - choose your own adventure.
For FIRST PLACE TIES:
@ CREEKSIDE -
Players in the playoff will proceed to Hole 1 and play the course as a group, sudden death format, where best-score on a hole wins / ties move on to Hole 2, then 3, etc.
@ BRIGHTON:
Players will be shuttled via truck to Hole 18, which will be played on a loop until a winner is decided.
General Reminders:
BE AT THE COURSE NO LATER THAN 5 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR TEE TIME TO MEET WITH YOUR CARD. Late arrivals have and will be given penalty strokes per PDGA regulations.
This is an A-Tier Event. There is NO SMOKING ALLOWED during this event.
Please continue to adhere to the dress code. We will not be huge sticklers on this, just dress PROFESSIONALLY. Performance tee-shirts (non-100% cotton) are just fine, 100% cotton shirts are not advised but we will not give you penalty strokes if it is clean, un-ripped, and looks professional.
It is HIGHLY recommended to arrive at the course at least 30 minutes before your tee-time to avoid penalty strokes.
Tomorrow looks to feature some very exciting play across all divisions. We couldn't be more excited to crown our 2025 Utah State Champions.
Thank you for your participation in this event, it has been an absolute pleasure.
Sleep well, hydrate well, and SHOW UP EARLY.
May the force be with you, always,
Ben
