Update on Gorge!
Hole 13: I want to start by apologizing for the confusion. This mistake is totally on me as a TD.
It was originally intended to have two mandos on this hole. I painted these along with a drop zone. However, in the live scoring general rules along with my speech before each card teed off I stated that the live scoring is the official rule.
It has come to light that the mando rules did not get saved into live scoring. So that means that they were not in play yesterday.
To remedy this mistake I have decided to remove the mandos on 13 and continue with the current rules. Instead of changing the hole mid event. However, the reason these were meant to be in play is for safety so please be mindful of the players on hole 14 if you take the big Hyzer line.
I sincerely apologize for any confusion yesterday. Like I said it’s on me as a TD. I believe this is the best solution moving forward.
