Good Afternoon Everyone! Sorry for the late post, though UDisc rounds are already up and active, and per the schedule A Pool is Playing River's Edge & B Pool is playing Trinity Church!
To address a couple of the things that I have been hearing that have been issues on the course.
If you are starting your round before 5, you must be playing before 5. No starting your round on UDisc and screwing around. Tee off no later than 5pm. Again, no groups of 5 are allowed unless they are approved in advance by myself or Emily. If you are starting your round at the point where you will not finish it before shotgun start at 6pm you need to start on hole 1, not in the middle of the course. Pay attention to your own pace of play, I don't like hearing reports that players are screwing around on their phones during league rounds and holding up other players.
There are a lot of players to be mindful of on the course during league days, and some waits are to be expected.
However, there are rules in place and when they are broken, delays cascade across the course like dominoes making the experience worse for everyone. I will continue to assess the latest allowed start time, and monitor cards (Udisc shows me how many people are on your card you know) and starting this week, if you are in a group of 5 and it has not been approved by myself or Emily, I will not count your score for the week. Further violations of that rule may lead to expulsion from the league.
