Hi everyone, I have a few announcements to make now that we are about a month away from the event and more information is set in stone. Hope you are all as excited as we are!
1. Parking will not be in the normal disc golf parking lot for the event, there is a big soccer event that weekend and they need to use our lot as overflow parking. Instead, we will be parking in the lots next to Fields 12 and 13 (type in Mercer County Park 2 into navigation app and it will bring you to the right lot). This lot is no more than a few hundred feet from Hole 1 of Mercer Woods.
2. Because of this parking change, our layouts for the event have changed slightly. Course start will be on Hole 1W, and we will be utilizing a layout day 1 that mixes the nine Mercer Woods holes with 11 holes from the original Mercer course. All layouts are in the “Pictures” section of the DiscGolfScene page, and I am building a caddy guide at tinyurl.com/states25layouts as well.
3. We are increasing our field to 160 players! This will mean that we will now be playing 20 holes at Mercer on day 1, as well as a few 5 person groups at Thompson
4. The MP40 division will be playing the Thompson Blue layout instead of the Thompson Gold layout (to make sure there are enough propagators)
