When I started this winter-time league, I remember thinking, “at least we won’t have to deal with rain in the winter”. How wrong I was! Last night was wet … like rained the entire round type of wet! JK and Bry didn’t notice though … they shot a 42 (12 down) to take home $40.
Fanzi earned himself $6 for his CTP on hole 9; and nobody carded an ace. After the reset, the Abyss Ace Pool is at a whopping $30.
We’ll play each of our three courses once more to wrap up the glow session, and we’ll have a lot more light after Sunday’s change to daylight saving time. The sun won’t set ‘til after 7:30 next Wednesday!
Week 18’s round is at Hawthorne where we’ll play the new layout since Oakland County pulled holes 1-3. It’ll be 4-12, 13 long/left, 12’s tee pad to 13’s short/right basket, 14, 15 long, 16, 17 short, 18, 17 long, and 15 short. Hope to see you out there!!
