I have been reading/following the weather. So far I think the ground should be ok with the quantity of rain they are saying mixed with the wind speeds.
For Saturday I would recommend waterproof shoes/socks, windbreaker/rain jacket. If you are not familiar with Sims, it is ON Lake Erie so we get the wind off the lake so plan on a cool breeze.
As an avid winter player, I generally wear a long sleeve base layer, T-shirt, Hoodie, and my lightweight wind/rain jacket and a gator around my neck.
Hand warmers, towels, snacks, etc are all helpful as well.
