I have to cancel playing the tournament tomorrow. Sims is in bad shape. That being said we are going to have player pack pick up and prize raffle at Pie Cafe in Willowick starting at 11 am with the raffle starting at noon. We will give you all a stack of raffle tickets for you to bid on the prizes you want. Thank you all. Please communicate with those you know to help spread the word

1. Advanced = higher level players. Example 900 or higher rated or shoot under par at Sims routinely
2. Intermediate = mid level players. Example 700-900 rated players but mostly shoot over par at Sims
3. For Fun = Disc golfers that want to play, get plastic, and have fun. Example UNDER 700 rated, shoot 20 over par at Sims

With the wet weather and the location of where the Long Drive Competition would have to be on grass, I believe cancelling the Long Drive Competition is best.
Also, if the weather stays like this then I will also eliminate the Putting Challenge and just incorporate the prizes set aside into the standard event.

I have been reading/following the weather. So far I think the ground should be ok with the quantity of rain they are saying mixed with the wind speeds.
For Saturday I would recommend waterproof shoes/socks, windbreaker/rain jacket. If you are not familiar with Sims, it is ON Lake Erie so we get the wind off the lake so plan on a cool breeze.
As an avid winter player, I generally wear a long sleeve base layer, T-shirt, Hoodie, and my lightweight wind/rain jacket and a gator around my neck.
Hand warmers, towels, snacks, etc are all helpful as well.
