I guess our purpose with the Royale is two fold. We want to provide a great amateur tournament experience. For us that means a fun competitive layout. A quality players pack and good looking trophies . The other purpose is to give something back to the state hospital. The Forgotten patient program is a great cause. The presents are for patients who don’t have loved ones that visit them and give them Christmas gifts. We hope that when the patients see us golfing they’ll know someone cared. Also we want the hospital admin to see disc golfers as a positive force. Sometimes we don’t come off looking too well. The tourney staff is all volunteer. So all the money left after expenses goes to the hospital.
