May 16th (Week 5) Recap:
We had 21 wonderful people show up to Wickes Sanctioned Singles tonight, with some impressive shooting in all divisions! Ace Pool now sits at $80.
Congrats to Brett Michaels Federspiel shooting the 2nd 1000+ rated round of the season, with a scorching 47 on the modified layout. Great shooting!
Congrats are also in order for Jonah Aguilera for taking down the Evolution Long Putt, and Kevin Briggs Jr. taking down the Beast Long Putt. Use your vouchers well!
Some exciting things are coming next week... I've just learned that the PDGA has modified its rules for Leagues, now allowing up to 2 different layouts to be played per week. With this, we will be playing 2 different layouts moving forward... one for MA1, FPO, and MPO, and another for AM2 and below. This will better protect ratings for everyone, and I'm glad the PDGA has changed its guidelines for this.
I will post more information as next weeks event gets closer, but I'm hoping to also get Hole 15 back into the rotation. Let's cross our fingers for some dry warm days ahead!
