I agree with the idea of these types of caps. But perhaps not just 4 weeks in advance during the holiday season? Maybe 2 months, so travel can be figured out for those needing more than a couple weeks to plan life?

You will note that the Burnaby Duck golf registration was opened 2 months before the event to try and give players more time. Traditionally Duck golf has always opened 1 month before but things are now changing. You should see the caps be adjusted in the next few days as per the about section.
