Welcome to The Maple Hill Master - DGMT!

This is your tournament director Callie McMorran. In this email you will find the course layout, caddy book, link to the tee-times, link to live scoring, projected payout, event sponsors, and more.

First, I want to thank you all for participating in this event! The DGMT has been an amazing success this season and we are looking forward to many more years!

Course Layout:

Layout:
Pool A- MPO, MP40, MP50, MP60, FPO, MA40, MA1, FP40.
Pool B- MA50, MA2, FA1.
Pool C- MA60, FA40, FA2, FA3, FA50, FA60, MA3.
Pool D- MP70, MP80, FA70, FA80, MA4, FA4.

Pool A- Diamonds Layout all 3 Rounds.
Pool B- Blue Layout all 3 Rounds.
Pool C- White Layout all 3 Rounds.
Pool D- Red Layout all 3 Rounds.

There is orange paint making all rock walls on the course. These were painted today. This is on holes 1, 2, 3, 6, 16, and 18.

Please note that all water holes do have a drop zone and all players are allowed to proceed to the drop zone with penalty if they do not feel comfortable throwing the tee shot. These will be listed on live scoring but will not be reflected in the caddy book.

Hole assignments:

Here is the link to your tee-time, if this is your first PDGA Tournament please note that your tee-time can change before the event starts. ( I still have people dropping out). Also, note that your tee-time will likely change for rounds 2 & 3. When you click on the link scroll down to your name, by your name will be a number under the “tee-time” column. This is the time you will be starting. Please arrive at hole 1 at least 10 mins before your tee-time.

Check-in:

Please arrive at the course with plenty of time to go through the check-in process. When you arrive you will need to come to the Innova Camper to check in near hole one and grab your players pack. If you haven't played in one of my events before please note that I have A LOT of products to look through. So please allow yourself time to get what you want. Unfortunately, the discs will be arriving a little late. UPS says they should land by Friday night. If this is the case we will hand out discs on Saturday before your round. I sincerely apologize for this. The shirts and stickers are scheduled to be on time. I will keep all players updated on this issue.

Live Scoring:

Here is the link to the live scoring website. On every card two players will be required to keep score through this website. Yes, I said two. The PDGA has just changed the website so that two players can keep score at the same time. This allows the website to check for errors as you play your round. If you haven’t already please download the new PDGA app. This app is a game changer with live scoring and it has a built in rule book that you can use the search engine to navigate easily during your rounds.

Access code to live scoring will be given out prior to you teeing off for round 1.

Lunch:

There will not be any lunch on site for this event. However, there are snacks available in the Maple Hill pro shop.

The rules state that "If a drop zone has been provided for an out-of-bounds area, the Director may allow players to proceed directly to that drop zone at the cost of two penalty throws." My understanding is that Non standard rules require a waiver and risk causing the event to be nonsanctioned and rounds not rated

It reads that a penalty is given if the drop zone is used. This will be talked over prior to everyone teeing off and it is updated on live scoring. Let me know if I am missing the typo you’re referring to. Thanks!
