This is free to all competitors.
If you ace you win a brand new Innova basket shipped straight to your door.
This will be held at hole 1 throwing from drop zone to blue basket.
There will be music and shopping at the rig.

Anyone that wants to vend is welcome tonight starting at 5pm.

There is a free practice day on Thursday. Practice round Monday-Wednesday are $30.

To book a practice round please use the Maple Hill website. For Thursdays tee times please book like normal and you will be refunded in the club house when you check-in.

For the Diamonds and Blue layout on hole 8 we are playing it as an island.

Rules read as follows;
OB: Both ponds are OB. Dam between the ponds is in bounds. Wooden boards and beyond past the basket.

Drop zone: All tee shots OB in the pond or outside of the island proceed, with a one stroke penalty, to the drop zone or re-tee.

For White and Red only the water is OB.

Welcome to The Maple Hill Master - DGMT!

This is your tournament director Callie McMorran. In this email you will find the course layout, caddy book, link to the tee-times, link to live scoring, projected payout, event sponsors, and more.

First, I want to thank you all for participating in this event! The DGMT has been an amazing success this season and we are looking forward to many more years!

Layout:
Pool A- MPO, MP40, MP50, MP60, FPO, MA40, MA1, FP40.
Pool B- MA50, MA2, FA1.
Pool C- MA60, FA40, FA2, FA3, FA50, FA60, MA3.
Pool D- MP70, MP80, FA70, FA80, MA4, FA4.

Pool A- Diamonds Layout all 3 Rounds.
Pool B- Blue Layout all 3 Rounds.
Pool C- White Layout all 3 Rounds.
Pool D- Red Layout all 3 Rounds.

There is orange paint making all rock walls on the course. These were painted today. This is on holes 1, 2, 3, 6, 16, and 18.

Please note that all water holes do have a drop zone and all players are allowed to proceed to the drop zone with penalty if they do not feel comfortable throwing the tee shot. These will be listed on live scoring but will not be reflected in the caddy book.

Hole assignments:

Here is the link to your tee-time, if this is your first PDGA Tournament please note that your tee-time can change before the event starts. ( I still have people dropping out). Also, note that your tee-time will likely change for rounds 2 & 3. When you click on the link scroll down to your name, by your name will be a number under the “tee-time” column. This is the time you will be starting. Please arrive at hole 1 at least 10 mins before your tee-time.

Check-in:

Please arrive at the course with plenty of time to go through the check-in process. When you arrive you will need to come to the Innova Camper to check in near hole one and grab your players pack. If you haven't played in one of my events before please note that I have A LOT of products to look through. So please allow yourself time to get what you want. Unfortunately, the discs will be arriving a little late. UPS says they should land by Friday night. If this is the case we will hand out discs on Saturday before your round. I sincerely apologize for this. The shirts and stickers are scheduled to be on time. I will keep all players updated on this issue.

Live Scoring:

Here is the link to the live scoring website. On every card two players will be required to keep score through this website. Yes, I said two. The PDGA has just changed the website so that two players can keep score at the same time. This allows the website to check for errors as you play your round. If you haven’t already please download the new PDGA app. This app is a game changer with live scoring and it has a built in rule book that you can use the search engine to navigate easily during your rounds.

Access code to live scoring will be given out prior to you teeing off for round 1.

Lunch:

There will not be any lunch on site for this event. However, there are snacks available in the Maple Hill pro shop.

I signed up for MA2 because that was the lowest division available for registration. I know I have no chance to make some of those water carry throws on blue. Will it be allowable to pass on a tee shot and proceed directly to the drop zone, accepting the stroke and the penalty? PDGA rules seem to say that it can be allowed by TD has to authorize it ahead of time.

Maple Hill is his favorite course (along with Smuggler's), so he will be excited, especially as Maine State has a long waiting list. I couldn't find the tees for MA1 - is that diamond? He may want to switch to MA2, not sure...
