Hello Everyone!
We are excited to see you all Saturday at one of my favorite courses in the entire state!
Attached you will find the rule sheet that we will be using for the tournament: Please note that some holes we are not 100% playing what is listed on the tee signs, FOLLOW THE RULE SHEET!!! Also these rules will be listed on the PDGA Live Scoring as well!
Thank you to Gary Mustard for providing me with the tee sign master files so you can see them HERE if you would like, it is a very big file and requires download. Also please see attached art to describe the OB on Hole 16 as that does come up a fair bit. I also added all rules to the Live Scoring. Also a reminder that Barbed Wire gets 2 meters relief and thorn bushes get casual relief on the line of play.
I also want to thank Gary and the city of Sterling for helping and giving me the information needed over the years to continue bringing an event to this hidden gem of a course!
Event Check in will run from 7:30am-8:15amRound 1 will start at 8:30 sharp, and two minutes are called out at 8:28am.After the final card is submitted we will have a 1 hour lunch break then start round 2.
Starting holes for round 1 will be posted on our PDGA event page HERE tomorrow night approximately 7pm, and again on this exact page with round 2 starting holes(Sorted by Score)
This year the top 25% of MA1, MA40, MA50, MA2 and MA3, and the top 40% in MA60 and all Women's Divisions will get invitations to the 2023 National Championships In Austin Texas, November 1st-4th 2023. As a reminder, anyone who has already gotten an invitation will be pushed down to the next player!
Current Projected Invites:MA1: 5 FA1: 1MA40: 2 MA50: 2MA60: 1 MA2: 4 MA3: 5 FA3: 1 MJ18: 1
Payouts this year will be handled Online with Disc Revolution for the top 25% of every division, They will not be onsite in Sterling with us but if you are playing Sunday the 30th at Pessimist in Fort Morgan (Spots Still Available HERE) They will be onsite vending there.
PLEASE NOTE: I will have some water but there will not be water on the course outside of near hole 1. COME PREPARED FOR THE DAY.
SCORING: Scoring is going to be done on PDGA.Com/Score the code to get in is STERLING. 2 people from the group are required to keep score, one via the official method, the other via PDGA ideally, but paper, or Udisc is acceptable. The group can decide who keeps the PDGA and who keeps the other PDGA or Udisc. The Digital Scorecard is the OFFICIAL score card of the event. After you complete scoring make sure everyone’s score is confirmed prior to anyone leaving for the day. PLEASE NOTE: Being unprepared to keep score, or unwilling to keep score with other methods provided is not an acceptable excuse.
LIGHTNING DELAY: In the event of a lightning delay (lightning within 5 miles of the course on the tournament Directors app used) All play will stop, mark your lie with a mini or distinct Natural object. Once the lighting has cleared, the round will resume approximately 30 minutes after the last strike in range. It is YOUR responsibility as a player to be aware of the restart time. I will do everything in my power as a TD to communicate to you, being on site in the parking lot gives me the best chance to tell you the restart time.
Ace Pool $3: If you want in on this At Check In, please bring Cash, and Exact Change. We will only be accepting Cash, no venmo or Paypal. If the ace pool does not get hit, it will move to the next Kylorado NADGT Event at Pessimist. The Ace Pool has not been hit at any of our first Five events, and currently sits at $330+ coins.
This is a PDGA B-Tier Event, all PDGA rules will be followed including those regarding alcohol consumption, marijuana use, and that you can not have a dog with you during the course of play. If you need any further clarification please visit the PDGA rules HERE or feel free to email me with questions.
This is also a Kylorado Point Series event, We only have 3 stops before we crown all our point Series champions! Check out the Standings HERE
Thank you all and I look forward to a great event!
