THIS POST WILL SERVE AS THE PLAYER'S MEETING:
Today was a great day at the ribbon cutting! Really happy to see everyone out there today.
Course is in immaculate shape for tomorrow (aside from the blue tee on 8's sign which was not there today????), including all OB lines. Hole assignments are posted to the PDGA event listing here:
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/70042
Please please please let me know if you are not attending. With a field of this size it is going to be very difficult to shuffle cards in the morning if we have drops.
Remember, this is a PDGA-sanctioned event. All rules listed on the PDGA's competition manual apply. While I want everyone to have a great time, please understand that all violations will receive appropriate penalties.
I have attached the caddy book in the event photos for download. If you can please save this to your phone. I will have some at the course in the morning, but not enough paper copies for everyone. One per card should suffice. OB listings are correct on the PDGA live page, so you can also refer to that for rules decisions.
USE CADDY BOOK/PDGA LIVE - there are some holes with OB lines that we didn't have time to get to that are listed on the signs. The caddy book/PDGA live rulings are correct.
I will also have paper scorecards, but two PDGA live cards are definitely the way to go for scoring purposes. The code is: LSPA2023
As for am player's pack vouchers, I have made one for each registered am at this time with your name on it. You will only be getting one of these.
Remember, lunch will only be one hour from time of last card submission for round one. Frank Pauley will be serving hot dogs and nachos there so that you do not have to leave the course if you don't want to.
Payouts will be handled once round two submissions are set and reviewed. All playoffs will follow this order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 16, then repeat until winner is determined via sudden death rules (lowest score on any given hole wins). I will try to make the payouts run as fast as possible as I know a few are on a time crunch.
We will have water coolers to fill personal bottles at tournament central, and bottles between 9 and 10, please don't leave trash all over the place.
Tee for round 1 is at 10:00 am, please be courteous to runners in the triathlon in the morning when warming up.
I believe that is all, I am happy to answer questions via FB or in the morning. I have tried to accommodate all round one card requests. I will not be shuffling the cards now unless necessary.
See y'all in the morning!
