Yes it is and always should. International disc golf day is the first Saturday in August. The Oregon Park Iron Man has, as far back as I can recall, been scheduled for the first Saturday in August. Thank you for pointing this out!

For what its worth, I'm pretty confident that the first Iron Man at OP was in 2013 (Wayne Kiddle was TD). I think one year (maybe 2014 or 2015 it was held earlier in the year. But because of daylight issues, it moved back to August in the future since then to make sure no one played in the dark! Glad to see this is a yearly tradition.
