That's up to you in terms of how much time you're willing to spend waiting at the course. To be clear, only a drop-out would result in a replacement from the waitlist. A no-show could still arrive late and have the right to join their card.

Thanks, for that clarification. I'm still trying to decide if I come all the way out on Friday or not. When exactly does a no-show become a drop? After their card has finished their round? In that case, is it even reasonable to expect to be able to get into the tournament to take the place of a no-show?
