~OTB Open - Amateur~
We're excited to be hosting Amateurs again in 2023! The OTB Open presented by MVP Disc Sports - Amateur, will feature competition over three days and a large amateur-only playing field on the same course as the Pros. We'll again be supported by our fantastic title sponsor, Only The Best Discs. Our presenting sponsor, MVP Disc Sports, will also support us again.
~Making Space for Women~
We will continue to prioritize the participation and experience of women. For example, women will have exclusive access to early registration starting on Tuesday, February 21st, until Friday, March 3rd, @ 6 PM PT. No division caps during this period.
~True Amateur Event~
This event will meet all criteria for a "true amateur" event and, as such, will be trophy-only. While there will be no traditional scrip payouts, our partners will help us build players packs valued at $300+! In addition, the winners of the MA1 and FA1 divisions will receive free entry into the DGPT event to be held the following weekend! If either winner does not wish to play in the DGPT event, the tournament reserves the right to award free entry to the next eligible player.

Redesigned Course and Event Layout
In 2023, we'll take over the entire Swenson Park Golf Course again for both events. Leonard Muise of Whirlwind Disc Golf has been very busy working on changes to make this year's layout the best one! The course will feature multiple layouts to ensure all divisions are challenged based on their skill level. MA1 and FA1 will play the DGPT MPO and FPO layouts, respectively. Due to the constraints of our agreement with the course, players should note that these layouts may not be available for practice prior to the event.
~Hole Sponsorships (SOLD OUT)~
For people who would like to support this event, we will be offering a maximum of 40 spots during an early registration period. The cost is $120 over the standard entry fee. Each division has a limited number of sponsor spots available. Should a division's allocated slots be filled while other division's spots remain available, please reach out to us, and we will grant (potential) leftover sponsor spots in the order requests arrive.

~Use of Limited Exceptions~
Our team will ensure that the use of limited exceptions (hole sponsorships & volunteers) meets the criteria and intent established by 1.02 in the PDGA competition manual. The number of players gaining entry into the event using these exceptions will not exceed 33% of the field or 50% of any given division.
