Here is a typical day competing for the USADGC:
Staff begins to arrive at the park around 6:30 am
1st Tee off is at 7:30 am on Friday and Saturday
1st Tee off is at 7:00 am on Sunday
Tee times in between groups are at 12 minute intervals, weather pending
There are 3 practice baskets near the 1st tee
There is a field where players can warm up longer throws
There will be an assortment of fresh fruits and snacks, coffee and water in the pavilion daily for the players and their caddies
Players are requested to check-in near the practice baskets 30 minutes prior to their posted daily tee times
Players will be sent to Hole 1 15 minutes before your posted daily tee times and check-in with our Tournament Starters
There will be an assortment of candies and water throughout the course under the pop-up tents for the players and their caddies
These will be restocked throughout the competition
We are working on a map and will post it in the Pictures tab above showing the course and pop-up tent locations
There will be water at the course Thursday for the players and caddies
When your rounds are finished you will be greeted at hole 18 by our Tournament Scorers
Following your rounds, you may go to the pavilion where you will be fed daily by Holden's (It is always great food and is part of the event)
If a player's caddie or partner would like to eat, the cost is $5 a day
Last tee times on Friday and Saturday should be around 2:54 pm, weather pending
Last Tee times on Sunday should be around 2:24 pm, weather pending
Rounds roughly take 3 - 3 1/2 hours. Depending on start times and weather, we expect to finish between 6:00 - 6:30 pm
Sunday awards immediately follow the last card barring any ties.
Following the last card daily, players may go back out on the course to practice if they so desire.
