That old saying “the best laid plans…”, well we had a great plan and then we were presented with a better plan after-the-fact and we chose to pivot. Pivoting meant we might anger some but we had to move fast. It was a calculated risk to give everyone ‘more’. We didn’t present all the details in timely manner and for that we failed.
We have added TWO events on Friday for everyone!
At the Steady Ed Course, we will be offering a USDGC Doubles Qualifier Event. YES, USDGC! YES,
QUALIFIER! NADGT will be covering $5 of every registered Premier Player who would like to participate.

At the Jim Warner Course we will be offering a Flex Start NADGT C-Tier. As our mea culpa, this will be offered at NO COST to players who were registered for the Premier before the event format change (01/11 07:42a EST), by using code NADGT at checkout. This discount code is attached to your invitation, via your email address, and expires on Jan 19 @ 8:00p EST, at that time general registration opens. If Friday is available for you, go ahead and sign up; if it turns out you cannot make it, please just email us before the event so we can update registration- no harm, no foul, no worries. This will hold your spot while the discount code is active. Players will receive a rated round, be competing for prizes within their division, and invitations to Nationals will be up for grabs. This gives you two chances to score invitations in one weekend! Details and registration can be found HERE:

I realize I scored a 680 rated TD round for not getting everything to everyone quicker. My goal as a TD is to always be transparent and try to get the details worked out ahead of time or in a timely manner so you get all the information you need. Sometimes we cannot get everything out at the speed we desire.
Speaking on that, I know the pools and course schedule have been questions. I’m meeting with IDGC staff mid-week, next week. We have some ideas to better accommodate everyone on all courses. Again, we want to clear things with IDGC first. This is their house, and we want to treat their house with respect.
What I can say is we are aiming for each pool to play all three courses, and we want to make sure that all those courses have suitable tees for all skill levels, within that pool. There have been a lot of new additions at IDGC. There are new short tees all over and some new features. I got a lot of those behind the scenes, fine attention to detail things that need my focus so we can deliver a solid player experience.
Again, I am sorry that some may have had discomfort in the team’s decision. I hope that you can allow us to provide you a great weekend, beginning on Friday, with a little more flare and a lot more disc golf.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please reach out. Thank you all and we are looking forward to a great 3-day weekend!
