1. Hole assignments are up and available to see on the PDGA Event page. It was done at random, through the PDGA group assignments feature.
2. At Check-In (7:45 – 8:20 AM) you will receive a bag that has these items included: Aluminum Mini-Marker, a Crew Keychain, mini chocolate bars, a bottle of water, a flavor pack for water, an apple, a voucher for $4.00 to Lucky Bucks (will be emailed to everyone after the tournament), a Disc Golf Network one-month free code, our sponsor list, and an invite to the Crew banquet. You will also receive one free raffle ticket for being in the tournament.
3. Raffle tickets will be drawn as we work on payouts at the end of the tournament. We will draw a ticket and the winner will pick a prize. We will then draw another and that person will pick a prize, and so on until we are out of prizes. You must be present to win (you must show us your ticket and match it with what we call out). If no one responds within 10-20 seconds, we will draw another ticket. If you bought tickets prior to the tournament, we will have those at check-in. You can purchase tickets at check-in as well.
4. Disc Dot has donated a few prizes and because of that we will highlight them and have a putting contest in between rounds for free! Finish your first round and come to the check-in table if you are interested in the contest.
5. CTP’s will be on almost every hole. We will have division specific CTP challenges. We will have longest putt and longest drive as well. Be sure to look at the PDGA live scorecard each hole to see what holes pertain to you.
6. We will do live scoring for this event through the PDGA live website. You will go to www.pdga.com/score and enter the code: apples to log in. For accountability, please have two people per card entering scores. If you are having issues with live, each card will also get a paper score card as a back up.
7. Please pay attention to the best way to get to your hole. Some of them can be very long walks if you don’t plan accordingly. We will do our best to explain at check-in where your hole is located and the best way to get there.
8. Player’s meeting is at 8:30am near check-in. Be there! Tee off is at 9:00 AM sharp!
9. There are 5+ trash cans out on the course. Please hold your trash until you get to one.
10. Restrooms will be the luxury portable restrooms… seriously, we rented nice restrooms for this year’s tournament. They will be near check-in.
11. Lunch break will be one hour from the last group that comes in. The Parks Dept. will be selling a $7.00 meal (Pork Burger, chips and drink) or a $5.00 meal (2 Hotdogs, chips, and drink). Cash is preferred but will probably be a card option as well. You are welcome to leave and grab something out too.
12. TD will post on Discgolfscene event page comments as to what time you will need to be back and ready to tee off for the second round.
13. Although the course is really cleaned up compared to last year, please watch your card throw to see where the discs go. There are still some thicker areas. With leaves falling, it is easy to lose your disc in wide open areas as they dig into the leaves as well.
14. Michiana Proshop and EM Dips will be vending the event, so consider buying some discs as well! All payouts will be done through Michiana Proshop gift cards. If you win the Ace Fund or 50/50, money will be sent via Paypal, Venmo, or some other online source. This eliminates the amount of cash we need to have on us!
