Hello everyone! Just a quick update:
1. Layout: We have decided the best event we can run is one with 18 holes rather than the planned extra three from the park course. We will play 4-5 players per card and are doing our best to provide spotters on holes that they will be needed. If you have been out there, you will notice it us MUCH more cleaned up, making it easier to find your disc. On hole 3, we will utilize the basket that is further to the right and under the trees.
2. Tee Pads: White tee pads are almost finished with gravel compacted. Hole 4 and 14 still need tee pads. Some of us will be out working Saturday and again most of the week next week. There is still a slight chance concrete will be in, but we are not expecting it to happen, this is why the tee pads are the way they are currently. I have walked the white tee pads on U-disc and set it up as an option for you to keep your score. Distances may be a little off as it was done via GPS from a smart phone. We will use a range finder to confirm distances before tournament.
3. Food: As of right now, the Parks Dept. is going to be selling food on site during lunch. You also have the option of going out to a local restaurant.
4. Raffle: Some have asked about when these will happen. We will read off raffle winners one at a time. As one name is called, you will have the opportunity to pick from what is left on the raffle table, and then we will call the next name, and so on. We will do this right when the tournament is over before we do payouts. You need to be present in order to pick your prize, or choose someone to choose for you, but please let us know who you choose so we don't have a random person snagging prizes :)
5. CTP'S and Vending: We currently have 18 CTP's and are looking for more! Thanks to Michiana Pro Shop for donating 9 discs! We also have EM Dips donating a sick Loft Hydrogen Putter- custom dyed. Both EM Dips and Michiana Pro Shops will be on site! All payouts will be through Michiana Pro Shops.
