For the first time in Deer Lakes League history, Deer Lakes League hit the road and took the trip over to North Boundary Park to compete on the FPO layout for the upcoming Butler County Disc Golf Classic. 39 total players came out in damp conditions to take on Nobo, and judging from the scores, it looks like NoBo came out on top today.
The hot round of the day came out of the Advanced division as Matt Muir shot a -6, 66. Jeremiah Libby eked out the win in the Open division with a -5, 67 while MJ Pottinger snagged the win in Intermediate. Lenny Mancinelli dominated the Recreation division shooting a +3, 75.
No aces on the day and the birdie pot wasn't hit, so the pots continue to grow. Bill Randolph and Lenny Mancinelli hit the CTPs on hole 4 for $16 and $14 each.
Thanks to everyone who made the trek out today to play and especially to those who stuck around and helped with course work to prepare the course for the upcoming tournament.
