I've read through the comments and am not 100% sure of the answer. Can any locals respond and let me know about entering the Metroparks as someone from out of state? Will I need to pay $10 every time I enter even though I have the VIP pass? Is there a 'weekly pass' that can be bought from the parks, or maybe even yearly, as I'm going to be entering the parks for 5 days!
Yes, you can buy a yearly pass from the Metropark. Its in the $40 range.
If you happen to have a senior in your car it may be cheaper for the yearly pass.
You need to pay once per day. You can come and go as much as you want that day.
