49 total players came out to play the blue tees at Deer Lakes this past memorial day on a toasty Monday. Tied for the hot round on the day was Mark Fedorenko and Chris Lachendro in the Open division with -8, 59s coming in unofficially rated at 1002! Dominating the Advanced division was Andy Fenlock with the only under par round for the Ams with a -3, 64. Bryan Schultz came out on top in Intermediate with a +3, 70, while Molly Moore won Advanced Women with a +4, 71. Adam Eisaman and Matt Brungo tied for the win in Recreational with +6, 73s and Annie Hawks won Recreational Women as she played unopposed.
No aces or albatrosses were hit from the blues, so the ace pot continues to creep toward the $500 mark. The birdie pot was hit though as Hank Lilienthal birdied holes 2 and 6 to take home an extra $126! Josh Gibbons won the Open/Advanced CTP on hole 2 for $24 while Bryan Schultz won the Others CTP for $15.
Following the cookout, 11 players stuck around for some Red, White, and Blue doubles with Chris Lachendro and Kasey Turner shooting the hot round with a -15, 52 to snag $15 each. The teams of myself and Josh Wertkin and Micah Beideman and Patrick Williams tied for 2nd place with -13 54, to each grab $6.25. Thanks to all who came out this Memorial Day. We will be back to the normal white tees this coming Monday. See you all out there!
