The Inaugural Widefield Open is here!!! Presented by Alta Vista Disc Golf Ranch supported by Innova Champion Discs. This will be a two-day event, playing one round of 18 each day. Tee times and live scoring will be on the PDGA site. Please check in 8 min before your scheduled tee time at the yellow Innova flag located at the south end of the parking lot. The below email serves as the "caddy book" which outlines rules of play and other important information for the weekend. We look forward to hosting you! Tee times will be posted early this coming week. If you have any questions on the rules of play, please let me know asap. TD’s & Contact Information: Curtis Paul 719-332-6155 [email redacted] Renee Paul 707-260-5559 [email redacted] Rules of play: This is a B-Tier PDGA sanctioned event, so all PDGA rules are in effect. You can check the rules at www.pdga.com/rules and read them over if you are not familiar with them. When in doubt, call out provisional and check with the tournament officials after the round for a ruling. https://www.pdga.com/rules/official-rules-disc-golf/80902 Friendly reminder for all new players. Always mark your lie. Don’t brush chains with your disc and think you have finished the hole. You’re in a tournament, don’t have loud conversations. There are other groups on the course. Don’t stand in line of sight. No dogs, no music, no drugs &/or alcohol. Respect the course, neighboring properties, and your fellow competitors. This tournament will be using PDGA digital scorecards. Someone in your group MUST enter scores into the PDGA digital scorecard and we encourage another card mate to keep backup scores on UDisc or paper cards. Group assignments, tee times, scores and ratings for each round will be posted on PDGAs event page.
