Just a reminder...the Bag Tag Membership Event on Saturday is OPTIONAL. But we will be using scores to determine who gets what Bag Tag to start the season.
The lowest score on the day will get the #1 bag tag, with the remainder of bag tags going in order of lowest score (2nd gets #2, 3rd gets #3, etc.). Layout and Tie Breakers have been already posted in the "sticky" post below. Layout and OB sheets will also be provided the day of the event.
The round will be a $5 entry and optional $1 ace fund with A and B divisions being used for payouts. Bag Tags will be distributed as a whole based on all scores in A and B divisions. With a short layout being played, it is a very good possibility a B division player walks away with the #1 tag. Payouts will be 100% of entries on the day, with payouts to the top 1/3 in each division. Ace fund will be thrown off for if no ace is hit, with Hole 13 Red Tee being the CTP in play if this happens. After tags are distributed after the round, there will be an optional Doubles Round for anybody interested. I cannot make this round myself, but will provided scorecards and get everybody rolling for it before I leave.
I will help determine A and B division splits. This will be weighted on course frequency and skill level. If it is your home course, you should be playing A division, especially with a short layout. And nobody wants to be called a bagger, so play where you think you have a fair chance to compete, not win.
In the instance you are not able to play the round or will only be stopping up for your membership goodies, your bag tag will be provided at a later date so that we can determine what players get what tag number from this event. I have yet to determine how the rest of these tags will be assigned. But I will most likely go with a time stamp from the registration payment to determine the remaining order. I will find a way to get your tag to you ASAP once this occurs. We will have plenty of options and ways to get you your tag with the official DG season underway and our own leagues and events starting very soon. So if you are only stopping up for your membership items, your bag tag will be provided at a later date. All Initial Bag Tag #s will be posted by Monday and we will then determine best route to distribute the assigned to tags to those who need them.
I will also bring some discs for sale for anybody interested. As of right now, I plan on bringing a couple of bins each of Discraft, MVP, Innova, and Prodigy. If there is anything specific you want, please let me know so I can be sure to bring it if we have it.
