We’re less than three weeks away, and I’m hoping a Weather Wizard keeps the temperature warming up for March 19th. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at Wingfoot for this unique tournament. Couple of updates I wanted to share with everyone.
- Three holes have been added to the tournament, making it 2 rounds of 21 holes with 42 teams playing. As of right now, we have 14 teams playing “Serious” and 28 teams playing “Casual.”
- We’ll be playing the 21-hole course used in the 2022 Frozen Fingers at Wingfoot.
- While I hope I get to see all of you that day, life happens and surely some teams will drop. The Waitlist is currently empty. If you know of someone else who wants to play, have them sign up. It’s likely we’ll get at least 3 or 4 teams (if not more) from the WL added in.
- I’m excited to announce that Play It Again Cuyahoga Falls has zapped itself into a Sponsor for the event. They’ll be adding prizes for players and CTPs, along with a $40 Ace Pot. Anyone who hits an Ace during a tournament round will receive a $40 gift card to Play it Again Sports in Cuyahoga Falls.
- We hope to add more sponsors and CTPs as we get closer to the event.
Prize Payouts
Thanks to Gateways Disc Sports and Play It Again Sports in Cuyahoga Falls, we’ll be rewarding teams with prize payouts for their efforts in the tournaments. The payout structure listed below is based on current divisional percentages. The final payout structure will be determined based on the final divisional structure. Prize discs consist of a variety of discs from Gateway Sports line-up and assorted new discs from Play It Again Sports in Cuyahoga Falls.
