The 25th Annual Colonial Ice Bowl has been officially postponed until February 5, 2022 due to snow. York County has decided to close New Quarter Park for Saturday January 25. It comes as no surprise since the snow forecast has not changed much since Tuesday.
I never thought one of ice bowls would be cancelled because of snow. Snow is something that makes an ice bowl a true ice bowl.
If you cannot attend on February 5, please contact me if you would like I refund. You can also request a refund through discgolfscene. If you are requesting a refund and ordered one of the full color sponsor discs, let me know if you still want the disc. No reply will mean a full refund and the disc will be sold next weekend. If I don't get a refund request, I will keep your team as is in the same time slot and assume you are good with the reschedule date.
Please let your partner know the event has been rescheduled and spread the word. I am sure there are a few that do not know what's going on and may show up to a closed park gate tomorrow morning. I will update discgolfscene and reopen registration for the upcoming week. We were on pace for our largest attended ice bowl. I hope to see all of you and more next week.
