SCORING:
All OFFICIAL scoring for Singles will be online, using the PDGA online scoring, that way scores go directly up onto the site at the end of your round. However, if the system has problems or you cannot get any signal, we will have paper scorecards for you too. Your group will need to use both and will need to turn in the physical scorecard to HQ at the end of your round. However, we won’t use it unless you ran into problems with the online scoring.
To access the PDGA scorecard, go to:
www.pdga.com/score, enter the access code: 44waterloo
If you don’t know the process well, there are a few very short videos on how to do the online scoring at:
https://www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/score/help
One important thing to remember: once you confirm your scores online, they are OFFICIAL! So don’t do this until ALL players on the card have looked at their own scores and verified them. Also don’t confirm them if you have questions about a Provisional shot situation or something that needs to be cleared up. Instead, have ALL the players on the card come to HQ and ask the TD (Gordon Kelley) about it when you finish the round (use the notes field in the PDGA online scoring to put your other score). Come get his ruling first and then finalize things.
