Originally,(3 years ago) the Dam course was reserved as a backup for Harmony Bends in case of flooding and the the expected turnout for registration was 150-200 players. The demand for spots was much higher than anticipated and after more experience dealing with flooding at Harmony Bends it makes more sense logistically to have the backup for Harmony Bends be a course in Columbia for a last minute change if it rains-out. Also the Dam course is a championship level course that we thought would be better to use than reserve as a backup.
