Final Results

I know you all are missing Putting League already so let me provide a summary of the year for you all.

Some interesting stats:
- 126 different people play at least once this year.
- 53 people on average every week, not including the people we turned away during the first few weeks.
- 9 people playing EVERY week

Can you tell me the number of players who putt with arrows? Or why John only makes doubles during double tap?

Rob Dahmen   April 3 at 7:51pm

1 player, on average. And dbl tap is late in the evening when John is drunk and thus concentrating better.

Season Ending

MCCG has decided to end the putting league a week earlier than previously noted.

March 26 will be the final week. We will have a flymart, the basket giveaway for double tap members, and maybe more!

Thank you all for a wonderful season. The dramatic improvement in everyone has gotten our split for A/B pools at just over 60%!

Season coming to an end

Thank you all for another great season of MCCG Putting League at 5Star.
As the indoor season comes to a close and people start to spend more time outside we will be winding things down.
I still recommend to play a course during the day, and then finish the evening at 5Star. Sunset is still before 8 and we don't start until 6:30!

- March 19 just a normal week!
- March 26 will be a flymart. Bring items to sell, trade, or just show off. Setup in the Poker room starting at 4:30 or so ... more

League Play Dec 11

The popularity of the league has grown to the point that we need to consider how to expand from our cap of 60 ppl. Tonight we will be doing a trial run of adding a flight to each round allowing us to accommodate up to 80ppl. Hopefully this means we won't need to do a waitlist anymore.

It does mean though it could add nearly and hour of play time. For us to not stay too late I will be working to close registration at 6:00, announcements at 6:05, and start at 6:10.

I think what you're doing is great. 30 min longer is not that big of a deal. John , you said it best.. What you're doing now is great. Separating players is not a good idea due to so many reasons, including breaking the togetherness we have when we're all in one room, and 2. unfair ad ... more

P.S. It is IMPOSSIBLE to make everyone happy. But you all know that. :)

As for having the TV communicate, have you tried a Chromecast? I bet that would work.
