So yeah about an hour longer. I'm not sure how I feel about that as a returning player. All it takes is a marathon game or two and it can really extend the night. I won't say nay as of yet, I'll at least give it some time to see if it gets smoother.

We had two marathon games last night. One was due to the score while the other was due to getting a late start as a player was not present when their game began. I disagree on the extra hour as I typically get home between 11 and 11:30 pm. Last night I got home close to midnight. I also had to clean about 4“ of snow from my car that I had not had to do yet this year. I would say the extra flight added about a half hour. Other options rather than an extra flight would be to add more baskets and add in the Poker Room. We have tried to not bring this into play for a few reasons. First, for us to enable the Poker Room we will need to make sure the TVs in each room can communicate with one another. This is currently being investigated. We also do not want to split up the players. And finally, we do not wish to create an unfair advantage for some t putt in the poker room that could have less distractions than those bunched up in the putting room. Therefore, we are approaching these scenarios trying to think of all that could impact the fun competition. We are also thinking about a partial or complete redesign of the putting room. A simple few alterations like the removal of the wing walls that used to have the room dividers mounted on them. In addition, what would removing the closet in the corner mean to putting more space in between the baskets? The bar itself is approaching its 40th year since opening day so can we redesign the bar eliminating unused space and providing more efficiency for those who work there while improving the space for us. The owner was there last night and has repeatedly heard from me these first few weeks of our 2017-2018 season. He knows what we mean to him and he is currently looking into making this place something we are proud to call our putting room home.
