League Wrap-up

It was an interesting end to the year...First off, congratulations to Jory Koopman who is the official league champion! I would also like to congratulate Steve Dewitt as well who is our unofficial league champion! A scoring error discovered after the round was considered official prevented Steve from taking the outright crown as he would have bested Jory by 7 points if everything was tabulated properly. Therefore, there are 2 champions and two pink hats for the 2019 HLoC league - Steve and Jo ... more

Wacky Sunday #3

Sunday will be our 3rd installment of wacky Sunday where we'll be playing Casual Sunday a.k.a one disc only. You may only use 1 disc for the entire round. We'll be playing 21 holes featuring the north set of the temporary 6 holes. See you soon!

Week #8 Results

Week #8 is in the books and it was a memorable one! 30mph sustained winds added adversity and spread the scores by 16 throws from top to bottom. Coming out on top were Jeff and Brennan with superb putting draining multiple 20ft+ headwind putts.

Next week will be wacky week #3. Not sure on the format yet as we are monitoring the course conditions. It will either be Super Mando or Casual Sunday.

Week #6 Results

Wacky Sunday #2 featured the Hughes Park Mega Course, a 21 hole layout with 3 OB laden alternate holes. The course was conquered by Steve/Brad and David/Zach who set the course record at -17. Nick wasn't there, so no aces were hit. Ace pool is currently $19.

Jason Butch   February 11 at 6:42pm

Big fan of the extra holes. Anyway we can play those every week??

Zachary Vaughn   February 11 at 7:09pm

Not sure about every week, but we'll see them again...

Tyler Wheeler   February 19 at 2:01pm

I too love the extra holes. It was a great time.

Week #4 Results

With an epic ace on #17, Nick vaults into the top spot scoring $89 with one single throw. He shouldn't feel too comfortable as there are some sharks not too far behind his lead. Congrats to Jeff and Travis for another -18!

Week #3 Results

The grab bag wacky day was a success as the ruckus on the course had to mean that people were enjoying themselves despite the bitter cold. Having a random driver for the round didn't seem to bother Steve and Randy as they beat the field by 5 throws with an impressive -17. Ace pool will start at $58 next week for members and $29 for non-members.

Week #2 Results

Still no snow which is leading to some great scores. Today Travis and Mike took advantage of the good conditions to post a clean -18 taking home the top prize of $60.
Next week is our first wacky week. Please remember to bring your grab bag disc. You can bring any kind of disc as long as it is a driver. The disc you end up with has to be thrown off the tee. You may use any disc of your choosing once you tee off with the grab bag disc.

Week #1 Results

Our first week is in the books and no one is happier than Todd. He posted the first league ace and is on top of the standings by $4. There is a slew of players behind him so he'll need more solid performances ahead, especially if he's going to miss finals on 3/31. Congrats to our CTP and LP winners - Nick, Todd, and Jason!
