Oregon cooperative points series Winter 2016/2017 Championship invitat

The Championship invitational tournament plans are in the works!
If you received a message by either DGS or text messages then you have won a berth to this tournament. Please reply soon so that DGLA staff may be able to fill every berth.
This year I expect to see quite a verity of players at this event. Have not ruled out a 16 player cap and BATTLE format yet. If BATTLE format is what we go with expect to see it sponsored up a bit.

Bad ACE January 14th 4X points!

Bad ACE January 14th at Champoeg park was a scheduled "Highlighted week" round (2X points).
With the round starting at 16* dew point and only getting up to 19* by 2:00 these guys surely earned a "Polar Vortex" (2X points)
(2X + 2X = 4X) DGLA points!
Well done guys!
Check out some of the changes in the leaderboard.
Also look out for news on an upcoming series championship to be scheduled.

Friday Night Black Outs did it again!

Friday Night Black Outs January 6th round was double points with the dew point at 19* it felt quite cold.

This DGLA winter series has been quite cold but seldom cold enough for double points. Friday Night Black Outs has cashed in on 2X modifier due to cold conditions twice.

FNBO January 13th was 16* Dew point so yet again qualify for "Polar vortex" and get the 2X points

Rick Saffeels   December 20, 2016 at 7:03am

Friday Black Out was 19 degrees at 10:45pm = 2x Multiplied

Great work this season so far! This is the third year of the DGLA Winter Series and the reminder is play when there are 2x the points!

Two things; I don't understand this post, and be careful with glow at Keizer, neighbors call the police all the time.

Zach "ZERO" Hartman   January 2, 2017 at 2:05pm

Well if you read the guidelines for DGLA there is a section covering the polar vortex (In the past many players of the Winter Point Series have enjoyed a temperature incentive, Double Points for rounds played where the (Feels Like - with Wind chill) Temperature is below 20 degrees F. If your will to challenge the Polar Vortex you deserve some reward.)

Zach "ZERO" Hartman   January 2, 2017 at 2:06pm

Also ive through the proper channels to gain permission from the city of keizer to run my glow league at keizer rapids, as long as my people are respectful of the surrounding community there will be no issue
