CCR Wednesday Night Singles.
New format, new season!
1) 24 weeks of divisional singles play: Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced and Elite. First 2 weeks we meet at Grand Woods by the pavilion near 16’s basket, check-in 5:15 - 5:55, tee at 6 pm. First place winners in all divisions win an Innova Dicatcher.
Full season schedules will be handed out the first 2 weeks and posted on the discgolfscene.com and at the message board at Grand Woods.
$35 for non-club members, $5 off for current CCR members (CCR membership bag tags will be available for purchase at all league nights, but must be purchased upon registration to receive $5 discount).
As part of your entry fee, 24 week competitors receive at Dry-fit league tee-shirt and a custom stamped Club disc (DX Roc, Yeti Aviar, Star Destroyer, Blizzard Boss).
2) CCR’s Wednesday Night PDGA Sanctioned Summer League Showdown: Players who do not wish to compete in a full 24 week season may enter a division and compete with the existing members of that division in a trophy only PDGA Sanctioned 12 week season.
The cost is $25, which includes 10 sanctioned rounds and a Dry-fit league tee shirt (a Custom Stamp Club disc may be purchased at a discounted rate). The 12 week season begins June 6th at Burchfield Park and will run through August 29th... the 10 weeks of sanctioned play will begin June 20th (giving you slackers some time to catch-up :))
*Players who entered the 24 week season receive 4 dropped scores and may pay an extra $12 by June 6th to have their rounds rated for the 12 week Showdown, either way, they still compete for the 12 week trophy only prize, as well the 24 week basket. Players competing in the 12 week season receive 2 dropped rounds (however the rounds will still be rated)
** Wednesday October 3rd will be the League Awards Party at Grand Woods with our traditional long drive and putting contests, grill out, Club flymart and a Supersized Club meeting.

Acepool throw off.
Okay, we have about 80 to 90 bucks to give away. So next Wednesday 10/10 at 6pm we're gonna meet at Lincoln Park and play the front 9 three times. Hit an ace, get paid... if you hit 2 and I hit one, we split 1/3, 2/3... if no one hits, then dots will come into play. I'll get into the rules of dots and all that jazz Wednesday.
See you all then.

We meet at the back shelter at Grand Woods... I'm firing up the grill at 4:57 sharp.

Potterville Wednesday Weather
Okay, so there's a 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms Wednesday, which means there's also a 50% chance of partly cloudy skies. So come prepared for the worst and hope for the best. If things get hairy out there, I will call the round and we'll just move on playing 23 weeks with 4 drops. I'll only call the round if lighting is in the immediate area or if tornado sirens start to blare. So, basically, come prepared to play...to save time we may skip tags if it looks l ... more

So, basically, come prepared to play...to save time we may skip tags if it looks like somethings moving in and do a double 50/50 next week provided you buy-in this week, and the CTPs will carry over as well. But that's worst case scenario.
So... see you all tomorrow. And remember to park in the ball diamond parking-lot.
Matt Rinker May 1, 2012 at 8:08pm
FYI, to accommodate parking, we will be parking by the baseball diamonds... I'll also have a sign out directing golfers to the correct lot.

New scores posted. Burchfield next week, 4/18.
Okay, after two weeks, these are your scores... after next week's round, I will calculate the points and post them at the Woods message board and on this site.
layout for Burchfield will be short to short baskets with 3 additional holes playing to 6,7 and 11 long basket, making for a 21 hole layout. I'll try to mark the the 6a, 7a and 11a pads as soon as I find out when the park plans on mowing next.
Great shooting Toy, thanks for giving everyone a weeks head start.
See you all at Burchfield!

Scores up... points to come.
Scores are posted, great shooting Jerry... 49 on the first night, good luck following that up :)
I'm going to wait to calculate points until after week 3, just in case we have a few late comers. But, in case you're curious, you receive 2 points for yourself and every person you beat in your division, whether they are there or not, if you take the week off or don't finish your round, you receive 0 points. So, currently, with 14 players in the Rec division, first place would get 28 points every week and last, if everyone is there, gets 2, unless more join in the fun!
