News and next weeks course.

We will play the course that is posted for 9-21-21 on 9-28-21 since we did not play that course this week. Hopefully next week I will get there in time to set up the course. For those who follow the leaderboard and your handicap you may wonder about this week. I will use Sam Helterline as an example. All scores are based on an 18 hole course even though you may not play 18 holes. Sam shot a 50 for 15 holes. So his 18 hole score is 60. That would be 50 / 15 * 18 = 60. So the 15 hole course had a par of 47. The 18 hole par would be 56.4. So Sam will have a +3.6 handicap score for the week.

We have concluded the second stage of the series. Joining Teresa on the list of champions is Dave Heider. Dave is the Heider doubles champion. We will now play singles for the rest of the year except the first week in August. Singles does not have a set start time. I will have the course set up by roughly 4:30 most Tuesday's. It's bonus week time. There are 5 Tuesday's this month so the first Tuesday is a bonus week. We will divide into teams like we did the first month at Wortman. No handicaps. Course will be as follows.

Work Party

We will be having a work party this Sunday the 28th starting at 10 a.m.. There will be bark to spread and branches and tree trunks to pick up. Clean up some fairways and basket areas. Can use rakes, shovels, wheel barrels. A few people will have chain saws making this process go faster.
