Drop in as a member or a guest between 4:30 and 6 PM on Thursday evenings beginning April 22, 2021 through September 2, 2021 and enjoy a round of disc golf at the beautiful Leprechaun Hollows. This course is only open once a week, so take advantage of an inexpensive opportunity to play this great course and win some prizes in the process.
All members will receive a premium disc with the LHDGC stamp as part of their player pack along with a long sleeve t-shirt and a custom LHDGC patch. *There are a limited number of shirts in each size available, so first come, first served on those. If shirt sizes run out, those players will receive an additional disc in their player pack.
Thursdays April 22nd through September 2nd – 4:30pm to 6pm tee times (flexible tee times are available, but may remove you from CTP prize contention for that week and must be pre-approved).
- Specific course rules apply: NO CIGARETTES, DRUGS or ALCOHOL out on the course. Let’s keep everything clean and players acting respectable. For any clarification, please contact the club president.
- Handicaps – The first three weeks will be used to establish handicaps for new players (returning players already have a handicap and can start scoring points immediately). For specific details on how it is calculated, please contact the league president.
- Divisionals - June 24 will be the 10th week of the season and will serve as the date for our members-only, divisional tournament. Players will be divided into different divisions based on skill and league standings (LHDGC reserves the right to move players to different divisions as needed to keep the competitive spirit strong). Three berths to the Michigan State Championships will be on the line.
- High-Lo Doubles and Awards Ceremony: September 9th at 5:30pm.
- Scoring Awards: A player must have a minimum of 10 rounds played to qualify for year-end scoring awards and at least 6 rounds played to qualify for hi-lo doubles. Overall scoring average removes your best and worst round when calculating.
- Points: You accumulate points by scoring well against your handicap. Only your best 13 point-scoring rounds will count, so you can still miss a few weeks and be right on pace. You will receive 1 point for each league member you beat each week (including members who don't show up). There are year-end awards for top point earners.
- Mandos: Hole #7, hole #11 and hole #14 will feature Mandos. On hole #7, play must pass to the left of the marked tree. Your hole #11 tee shot must pass to the left of the marked tree and OVER the first fence. Hole #14 needs only to pass between the two marked trees. All missed Mandos proceed to the drop zone with a penalty stroke.
- Ace Pool: Members receive 100 percent of the ace pool at the time of their ace, while guests receive 50 percent. If applicable, the remaining ace pool at the end of the season will be split between the hi-lo doubles and year-end payouts. An ace during the hi-lo doubles WILL NOT be paid out.
- Guests are welcome for $5, and they get entry into all CTPs, the nightly prize drawing and 50 percent of the ace pool.
-Nightly prize drawing: Each week, we will pull one winner from the jar to receive a prize. There are four eligible winners inside the jar each week (hot round, best adjusted score, most birdies and longest par streak).
- Tee off: All players must begin their round from hole #4.
- Out of bounds: All boundaries and course penalties are listed on the back of each scorecard as well as the tee signs.
- Incorrect scores will be given 5 points during league play instead of whatever points would have been earned that day. If an incorrect score is turned in and is higher than the actual round that was shot, then the turned in score will be considered the actual round.
-Social Distancing: All check-in will be done verbally and electronic scorecards via Udisc or the PDGA app will be strongly encouraged, though paper scorecards will still be available to help with OB decisions and to promote our sponsors. Tee offs will be spaced out and congregations of more than a cards-worth of players will not be tolerated, period. Electronic payments via PayPal or Venmo are also strongly encouraged. For CTPs, please use your own pen/pencil to record your name to limit contact with others. If anyone does not feel comfortable, remember that hole prizes are entirely optional, and you do not need to participate.
-In the event that the league is terminated early due to unforeseen circumstances, only Full-Pay Members will receive a refund. Even then, they will only receive $5 back per week that was not played minus the $30 player pack fee. After week 10, there would be no more refund. Any extra funds would rollover to help pay for the 2022 season.
