About this league
•Weekly rounds played on Sunday afternoon, typically in Canton, GA.
Points-based system that runs through the end of the summer!
•You earn points based on the number of people who played in your division for the round, and what position you placed. Ex: For a 5-person round, the player who comes in first would earn 5 points, second would earn 4 points, third would earn 3 points, fourth would earn 2 points, and fifth would earn 1 point. In the event of a tie for a position, you split the sum of the points evenly among the players who would have placed in those positions. (ie: 4 players playing, 2 players tie for second. - you would add 3 points [2nd place] and 2 points [3rd place] together, and split the points evenly. The players who tied in this scenario would earn 2.5 points each for that round.)
•Any time players listed in this league play a round together outside of scheduled weekly rounds, you can still log it and count it towards your total points!
•In the event of a partially-finished round due to weather or some other circumstance, tally scores up to the latest hole finished, and determine rankings/points for the round based on that. To consider the round "ended early", all players must stop playing at the same time.
•Players who do not finish a round or do not complete the same number of holes as the rest of the players for that round forfeit their round score, (earning zero points) and do not count towards the point total for that division, for that round.
•Any questions or things that need clarifying, post them in the comments board!
