This week's special rules are High-Low! It's a variation of the Alternating Drives rules but instead of each throwing a different type of throw off the Tee, we're instead going to throw different type of disc off the Tee. One person has to throw a putter and the other has to throw a driver. High-Low!

Thats right, you can throw your One Disc Only but if you already have some 2018 FBO plastic or buy some from Cole before Dubs you can throw that too. Thats right, you can throw your One Disc Only but if you already have some 2018 FBO plastic or buy some from Cole before Dubs you can throw that too. We're playing at Wayne! Our park is being taken over by the Scouts for the second week in a row so we set up a temp course on the back 9 of old Wayne golf course. We'll play a 9 hole layout 2x around with some similar holes to what the Bothell Bomber layout was last winter and some other all new holes!

We're going back to doing the standard Ace Pot we did for the first 7 weeks. However, we will be doing Birdie Bash at the same time without having to pay into it each week. Yes, you heard that right, both Birdie Bash and a traditional Ace Pot each week for only $1. Dubs still at $5 total with your buy-in at $4 and the Ace Pot at $1. Here's how it works...

~~~Ace Pot~~~ Now at $60
- Optional $1 Buy-In each week is available to all players, including casual.
- Ace Pot will payout to the individual player that aces.
- If the Ace Pot reaches $250, and nobody gets the Ace that week, $100 will go towards the club for course maint/improvements or to fund a Birdie Bash.

~~~Birdie Bash~~~ Now at $100
- When a Birdie Bash is in effect, 3 random holes will be chosen at the beginning of each week for the Birdie Bash. Birdie Bash payout will be awarded to the team who can birdie all 3 holes on both rounds of play.
- Birdie Bash Pot will be $100 until awarded and will not continue until funded again. Funds may be acquired through member donations or club funds. If club funds are used then a majority vote is required by Blyth Squad Dubs Admins.
- Casual players are exempt from participating in Birdie Bash.

Here's how the numbers worked out to get where we are right now. The old Birdie Bash reached $106 last week so we took $100 of that and funded the new Birdie Bash. The remaining $6 went towards the new Ace Pot and then several players stepped up and donated to the new Ace Pot making it $60. Special thanks to those who donated including Eugene C, Mitchell Dorman, Mike Morris-Lent, and anyone else that I forgot! If anyone else would like to donate please let me know.

Winning team has chosen the special rules for next week to be... "Alternating Drives"! Alternating Drives means that whatever your partner does for their tee shot you have to do something different. For example, if your partner does a backhand tee shot, you have to do do something different like forehand, thumber, tomahawk, roller, etc.

Each week the winner gets to decide if there will be any special rules for the next week. The first week was standard (no special rules), second week was 2 discs only (bag any 2 discs but only 2 discs), and last week was Top Shelf (any disc speed 7 or higher but nothing below a 7).

For week 4 the winners of week 3 decided to keep it simple and not have any special rules. Standard Dubs for week 4 (no special rules).
