Hey everyone,

We had a successful year and I'm looking forward to taking that into next year and making next year better. If you have any thoughts or comments of how things were run, or courses played, or rules, or anything in general, then send me a message here on disc golf scene or on the Facebook page. I'll read everything I'm sent and take it into account when planning next years leagues.

Don't forget the Indoor Putting League starts this Sunday December 3rd at 3 pm.

A couple of new items today:

1) We are now officially No Bounds DG.

2) We are excited to announce that we have two berths to the State Championships next year. We'll announce next year how you'll be able to win one of the two.

3) Next year the PDGA United States Women Disc Golf Championship will be held in Lansing. I'll be volunteering to help out and would love to have some more members of No Bounds volunteer to help make the tournament a success. It will be in September.

4) We'll continue to work on improving rules and points to have a fun competing league.

5) Next year the price will drop to $10 for your first week and then $5 for every additional week. It will not include a Player's Pack. We will have discs and other items available for sale if you're interested.

6) Our logo is in the final stages of being finished and I am happy to announce that I have hired Skulboy to create our logo and when it's done I'm looking at putting the logo on shirts, hoodies, hats, and MVP/Axiom discs.

7) If you have any comments or suggestions you can comment here, send me a message here, or send me a message on Disc Golf Scene.

Hindsight is 20/20. Earlier today between 12:30-1 pm it was raining and the weather app was showing me rain all day into the night and I felt it was to late to cancel so I figured we'd let it go to a vote. I waited in the rain until 2 and called it because my app was showing me that we were in the green and going into the yellow for the rest of the day into the night for a hard steady rain leaving us with little light to play in if we waited it out or being completely soaked. Yeah an hour later the weather has changed again but at the time I made the decision, I believe I made the right call.

This was the last week regardless as I will be out of town tomorrow and my next two weekends are locked up with family obligations. We were still able to get in 9 weeks this season and we'll be back next year.

We'll see you in 2 weeks for the Indoor Putting League at Pine Creek disc golf course at the Sandbar. We'll be beginning December 3rd at 3 pm but you can come any time between 3-5 to get your round in.

We'll be hosting a Winter Wizard in February or March and then the Spring season will begin in April.

Thanks again for coming out this season as well as all year and I can't wait to throw against everyone again next year.

Just a heads up that it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow so if we play bring your umbrella or water proof stuff. Still meet at 1:30 and play at 2. If we cancel it'll be on here and facebook. If we do cancel, the season will be over and the CTP prizes for tomorrow will be kept until Week 1 of the Spring season.

We are heading to Pine Creek in Belleville to play the Winter Layout there. Here's the address: 50521 W Huron River Dr, Belleville, MI, 48111.

We're going to meet at 1:30 and throw at 2. Playing one round of 12. The CTP for points and for the Axiom Panics will be hole 8. The longest Putt will be 11. Birdie Bonus holes will be 3, 5, 9, & 12. Hole 10 will be a prize CTP for one of the Cryztal Buzzzes. Hole 3 will be a prize CTP for one of the Cryztal Buzzzes. Hole 9 will be a prize CTP for the Millennium JLS.

When we're done with 12 we'll head to the Sandbar and I'll pass out CTP prizes, league trophies, bag tags (so bring them if you have them or if you know someone who hasn't been in a while bring theirs) and if we have 12 or more people show up the raffle for the MVP Pro Basket. You are welcome to get a burger or sandwich and beer and stay and celebrate the end of the year with us or if you have to go, that's fine too.

We're heading out to Independence Lake this week to play the Red Hawk X course. It's holes X1-X12 & A-F. If anyone has info for the distances on each hole let me know so I can set up CTP & Longest Putt and Birdie Bonuses.

Ace pool is at $243 and league members can pay $2 to win at least $194 and new players can pay $5 to win at least $122 (or pay $25 to win the $194 if they choose).

It looks like they are getting a temporary 12 hole course put in at the Sandbar this week and if they get that finished then we'll be moving our last league week to there instead of the Gulch.

Ace pool will be over $200 so league members can take home at least $160 and with a $5 entry new players can take home at least $100 or pay $20 to take home the $160.

CTP for men will be hole 13 and for points. CTP for women will be hole 7 and for the Hyzer Bomb Tank. Longest Putt will be hole 16. Birdie Bonus will be 1, 6, 8, & 10.

We're having our annual Glow night this week at Water Works. Bring your glow discs and your LEDs. I'll have lights for sale (what I paid for them $2.50) and tape. We'll meet at 6:30 and start throwing at 7. We'll mob it and play 2 rounds of shorts with the possibility for another round. We'll be beginning as the sun sets and finishing in dark.

The Ace pool is $178 so if league members hit an ace they'll take home at least $142. New players can pay $5 and win half ($89) or pay $18 and take home 80%.

CTPs, Longest Putts, and Birdie Bonuses will only be on the second round and in the dark. CTP will be hole 16, Longest Putt will be hole 15 and Birdie Bonus holes are 11, 13, 17, & 18.

Hey everyone,

Heading to Northridge this weekend for our 50th league week! We will play 1-18, mandos in effect, Out of Bounds will be the water, the parking lot, over or on the road. If it's raining hard on Saturday and we need to cancel I will post on Facebook and the league page. If you haven't heard from me by 3 pm you can assume we'll be playing.

CTP will be hole 15 and longest putt will be hole 14. CTP winners this week will get a couple of DGA Quakes. Pics on the facebook page. Bridie Bonus holes will be holes 2, 6, 11, & 16.

Ace pool is at $150. New players who have never played with us before can pay $5 to win half of it ($75) or pay $15 to win 80% of it which is $120.
Next week is GLOW NIGHT so order your lights or glow discs soon so you'll have them in time.

You have 7 more weeks to play 5 times to be entered to win a MVP Pro basket this season. Plenty of time to compete for the win too as new players can get an extra 5 bonus points for finishing in the Top 3.

I have changed how the ace pool is run to make things easier for all. Rules are above in the About section and also posted here:

ACE POOL RULES: As long as the ace pool is less than $150 then any players can pay $2 and win 80% of the pot. Once the ace pool hit's $150 or more than the cost for new players is 10% of the pot to win 80% of it. Or players can pay $5 and win 50% of the pot. You can pay $5 each week until you hit the 10% but if you hit before paying 10% you'd only win 50% of the pot.

For example if the pot is $175 then new players can pay $5 and win 50% of the pot or they can pay $18 to try and win 80%. Anytime after you've paid the 10% the cost is $2 a week.

We are finally back to playing this Saturday (September 9th) at Lakeshore. Usual meet at 3:30, play at 4. Cost is $15, ace pool is $2. If you haven't received a League disc yet then you'll get one, if you've already gotten a league disc then you won't get another one. We'll vote on Saturday about playing 18 or 24 holes.

Ace pool is at $112 and if you hit an Ace on Saturday you'll take home around $100.

No rule changes this season. We're going to play 10 times and only your top 8 scores will count.

Before our round starts I'll have a spot from about 20-30 feet away at the practice basket. You get 5 throws, the 2 people with the most putts will get one of the Ricky Wysocki autographed Harps. If one person gets 5 and two other get 4 then the one with 5 will get a disc and the two with 4 will throw again. Any ties will just be a throw off until there are only 2 winners.

CTP this week is for points and will be hole 15. Longest Putt this week is for points and will be hole 14. Birdie Bonus holes are 1, 4, 9, & 18.

Please bring you bag tags. The schedule is subject to change but I'm pretty sure that we shouldn't have any conflict with U of M football traffic.
