About this league
Fee per round $5
This is a Singles Indoor Putting League for both men and women inside the Sandbar at the Pines in Belleville. The address is: 50521 W Huron River Dr, Belleville, MI, 48111. The cost is $5 a week ($3 goes to end of season pot, $2 goes to league to pay for supplies, once that number has been reached then the $2 goes to the Sandbar to raise money for baskets for the course).
We will play 12/3, 12/10, 12/17, 1/7, 1/14, & 1/21.
There will be 5 stations set up. Station 1 will be 20 feet into a practice basket. Station 2 will be 25 feet into a practice basket. Station 3 will be 33 feet into a practice basket. Station 4 will be 25 feet into a Marksman basket. Station 5 will be 33 feet into a Marksman basket. Each putt made in Station 1 is worth 1 point, Station 2 is worth 2 points, Station 3 is worth 3 points, Station 4 is worth 4 points, and Station 5 is worth 5 points.
Each Round consists of throwing 5 putts at each station (so bring 5 putters) with a max round score of 75. Players play 3 rounds with a max total score of 225 points. The player with the highest total score at the end of the night will win a Special Edition Moonshine Deputy. If there is a tie for highest score then players will throw 5 putts starting at Station 5 and working down until there is a winner. Payouts will be done at the end of the season and will be based on the amount of players we have, at least the top 3 will be paid out and maybe more up to the top 5-7. We will know more as we get to the end of December.
There will be six weeks and the person with the highest total score for 4 weeks will win one of the Marksman baskets that we've been using. So if you come all 6 weeks you can drop your lowest 2 scores.
If there are any ties for the top prize at the end of the night or at the end of the season then those tied will start at Station 5 and throw 5 putts per basket. We will flip a coin or disc to see who goes first. Whoever makes the most at Station 5 will win. If there is still a tie then we will continue going down the Stations in order (5, 4, 3, 2, 1).
There will also be a season long 50/50 raffle that we will give away at the end of the season. Tickets are $2 a ticket or 6 tickets for $10. The winner will win 50% of the pot and the other 50% of the pot will go to the Sandbar to raise money for baskets for the course. We will also have a donation box that will go towards baskets as well. You can buy tickets for the 50/50 raffle all season long and then we will draw the winner at the last weekend.
Come and get some practice in during the winter months, enjoy a burger and a drink in between rounds or once you're done, and have a good time! You don't have to arrive right at 3, as long as you start your rounds by 5:30 you'll be recorded.
