Congratulations and thank you for coming every week. If you feel there is an error, please let me know. I have all the scorecards scattered between 4 locations at the present point, but will be piling them in order from first week to the last week as best as I can.

League Party Details: If you haven't been able to or can't tomorrow, I am trying to gain a rough estimate of people attending the High/Low Doubles. I will set it up as a tournament after tomorrow night (along with update the next GRDoD tournament), and put in all the qualified people (as wait list) and list those who have said they will be there as participants for the doubles round. I have sign up sheets at the sign in table for league for dish to pass, guest info (qty), and beer preference.

Tee off will be as soon as we can on Saturday with Sign In from 10 through 10:30AM.

So, I did not do very well last league day at Fallasburg. The statistics complied on Discgolscene are confusing. That is, on the Fallasburg page, the long-tee-18 used by our league shows it as 58 par. Yet they have my league scored as though the par is 54. Of course, the total of strokes is what matters most. But, I have recently been concerned that people are lagging behind the modern expectations where par 3 holes are no longer presumed. I get weird looks when I have the card and someone says, "par", and I say, "what's that." PDGA strokes people who mark a hole with a "-". The reason? ...not all holes have the same par. Just like they did in ball golf in the 19th century.

Brewer course-work update: This Friday - July 14, is the date for laying the tee pad cement. (The cement company has informed us that this is their best and earliest.) 10 am is the planned start time. Because of our dependence on the cement company timing, it is important that people who can help with the work let Jacob Stahl (DiscBaron- 616-481-9893) know that they will be there on Friday at 10am.
