A Discraft Drone was found not too long ago with no name. It seems that someone lost it during the snow bowl. If it is yours message me and tell me what color it was and I'll get it back to you.

I lost my green Latitude 64 Flow this past Sunday. Someone has already picked it up I'm sure. If you see it around please let me know!

Last but not least- Don't forget about the Vibram Birdie Bash on April 3rd. We need to get these spots filled. Registration closes at the end of March. If we don't get enough people we will have to cancel.

Please join us for a super-fun Random Dubz event at Muldoon the day before the Super Bowl, Saturday February 6th.
9:00 - 9:30am Registration, 10:00am tee off.
No entry fees, no buy-in, just come out and have some fun!

There will be a Firepit to keep warm, and a charcoal grill for heating foods for post-round consumption.

The man, Mark Ravenelle, has been talking with Innova and coordinated a donation of 16 new sets of chains for the Muldoon baskets. Not only that, Innova has donated 26 assorted champion plastic midranges and drivers! Many thanks for Mark for his efforts in making this happen, and for already installing the new chains on the course! Come out and help break in the new chains!

ALL 26 DISCS WILL BE PRIZED OUT DURING THE EVENT!

Top 10 doubles teams will win a disc for each player.
First place gets first choice of discs, second place second choice, and so on.
CTP disc prizes for 4 holes during the morning round.

We'll also do a fun-zy second round after lunch for those who can stick around, and we'll reserve 2 discs as prizes for that.

I'll be coordinating the day-of registration, random team/hole assignments, and score taking. Mark is leading the course prep, firepit/grill, and food coordination.

I've created the following discussion thread on DiscGolfScene that everyone can use to communicate. Let us know you are coming! Let us know if you're planning on bringing anything for sharing!

Yes, it is winter and it may be cold and slippery. Be sure to dress warmly with hats and gloves, and don't forget shoes/boots with good traction! We're hoping the parking lot will be plowed or packed down sufficiently for the event, but if you're not confident in your car's abilities, you can always park on the main road and trek in by foot.

During the Year end bash on Sunday Sept 20th we will be doing separate deep payouts for Tuesday players & Sunday players!!!

Be sure to come out for the last few Sunday rounds - Sunday rounds end on the 13th.

A Signup sheet will be out during each round; we're looking for Bash day help. Let us know if you can bring food, spare grill, coolers, ice....

Sunday rounds will continue to Sunday Sept 13th. Year end Bash will be held on Sept 20th.

After this Tuesday we will be organizing, "chuck a buck" doubles on Tuesday @ 5:15; for those that want to keep playing we will be doing very loosly organized random doubles - everyone throws in a buck. If there is interest we will do a cash CTP for another buck.

Last night saw some good scores including newcomer Greg come out and shoot an excellent 54 for his first time at our league. Those super great chuckers who are going to help glow-up the course should be there for 7:00. The more the merrier when it comes to setup - very easy and kinda fun to glow stuff up, so come out and make it a great night!

Dollar store will get you some cheap glow bracelets that can be used to glow your discs inexpensively; attached to the underside of your disc with some clear packing tape. Glow discs work better with a UV flashlight. LED lights for your disc work the best!! Our sponsor sells them, stop in and grab a few! If you stop in the Dollar Store for bracelets for yourself grab a few packs for the course as well - the more glow stuff the more glow fun!!!

So, Glow It and Throw It!

The Glow Round will be for tags, but no points. Low score will Win something glowy!!! If we have enough interested chuckers we may do a Glow CTP for cash!

"Dynamic Discs Two Disc Challenge is becoming a very popular event! We have held Two Disc Challenge events in markets of all sizes, from 100+ member clubs to small market towns of 6,000 people. For only $20, players receive a putter and their choice of another disc from the Dynamic Discs, Latitude 64, or Westside Discs disc line. Players can even choose to upgrade to 3 or 4 discs for an additional fee.

We typically offer intermediate and advanced divisions, but occasionally more depending on participation. We typically run these events as a flex start, meaning players can start whenever it is convenient for them. Prizes are awarded to the top 3 participants in each division, with the number of divisions based on expected participation.

It seems like every Tuesday we either have rain or a serious threat of thunder storm. Thankfully last night, it was only a looming threat. We had a few good personal bests last night. Brian Charron and Jim McCann lit it up with some excellent scores. Thanks to everyone who was patient during the scores announcements. Technology failed us momentarily and I was having a hard time using Bianco magic to get the tags right. I'll get the hang of it one of these days. Until then, you all get to suffer with me. Another thunderstorm dodging league round for Tuesday night. Seems like we have dodged more than a few storms this season. We may get away with 5:30 starts for another round or two; Watch for 5:15 start announcements.

Tuesday Night League will end on, Tuesday, Sept 1. Sunday morning league will go on for a few more weeks and will end on, Sunday, Sept 13th.

League Year-end Bash will be held on Sunday, Sept 20th. Stay tuned for Bash day festivities - for sure there will be a morning singles round with lots of CTP prizes, Ring O' Fires and a BBQ. Most likely we will do a Doubles round in the afternoon. Always a great time - don't miss the Bash!

GLOW ROUND - looks like we will be holding a glow round on Saturday, Aug 29th. We will be looking for glow setup help and be putting out a signup sheet to get some helpers comitted to glowing up a hole or two. If we get enough people to setup we can get the place glowing in no time - setup for just 30 minutes before sunset. Also, Dollar store sells bracelet 8 packs for a buck - help out and purchase some glow bracelets that you can donate to the cause - bring them to league and give them to me, vijay or Jeff - The more you bring, the more the place will GLOW!!!

We will be working on the wood between old holes 6 & 7, then moving the practice basket to the new field practice area...then some pizza and chucking. The Tickhead's Annual Two Disc Challenge (TATDC) is going to be held this Sunday July 12!!! This tourney will take the place of the usual league round.

You don't want to miss the annual two disc challenge! We will start at 9:30; check-in begins at 9:00. Your $5 entry includes 5 CTP holes (prizes & cash), the League Ace pot & cash payouts as deep as entries allow- the more that enter the more winners there will be!

Rules and such:

1) Any two discs you like from your bag - just two for the round.
2) league points will be tracked, but no tags.
3) 4 CTP prize holes & 1 cash CTP = 5 holes. (2, 3, 7, 9, 14)
4) league ace pot applies - what ever it is plus day's total.
5) Buy-in $5. (Gets you into Ace & CTP pots) $3 goes to payout - no league cut.
6) If no ace hit $1 per entry goes instead to payout total.
7) just one round. Followed by the usual Sunday round of random doubles.

Last steps to get us all playing are first, T-Pads and once those are complete: Basket moves and some signage! Getting close!!!

I'm looking for T-Pad helpers starting this Thursday Afternoon after 2:00 and Friday any time as I am free all day! So, if you can help, email me and let me know when you can assist. It would be great to get a few teams working on this at the same time as we could finish in one day with enough hands. We have two pads to make on the front part of course and the 4 new pads in the back. With enough hands this will go pretty quickly.

Pitch-in and we can get playing!!! Email me and let me know when you can help!! Even just an hour after work could get a pad done with a few hands. It would also be nice to see some different faces helping out. Pass the word and lets get Chucking!!

We had 34 Chuckers for Tuesday night and I know a few got to the course too late to join in. To get the League round in before dark we have to start at 5:30; especially as the number of chuckers keeps growing.

Fellow Chuckers, we raised $145 towards our fairway clearing efforts during our Sunday round. We still need to raise $375, so be sure to bring any spare change to the next few rounds - the donation can will be out until we reach our goal.

Thanks to all who donated on Sunday and to all those that will on Tuesday!!

For those few that don't know the "hole" story; we will be elimanating existing holes 2, 3, 4 & 9. There will be two new par 4's. Existing hole 8 will play much the same shape, but move to roughly 500'. 1st new hole in the Beaver Brook area - new hole 9 - will be another par 4, finishing right across the brook from existing basket 14. There will be a hanging basket on new hole #3.

All in all, you are going to like the changes that are coming!! Be sure to donate as much and as often as you can. Less lopping and dragging is worth every penny/dollar ;-)
