Congratulations to the following for finishing in the top 16 in the point standings during 24 weeks of Wednesday Night Doubles. Please respond to this thread by Tuesday at 6:00 pm to secure your spot. After that your spot will be released to the next person in the point standings. $300 is up for grabs! Come and get your share.

Since there's a 3-way tie for the 15th and 16th spots it will be settled as announced, by the number of leagues attended during the regular season. Results posted below:

It's been a while since we've had nice weather out there, huh? What you should know:

- The Ace Fund is over for the month. $139 belongs to Mike Miles for hitting number 14. That was the 7th ace hit at Dubs this year.

- The CTP was hit by Russell Janeway on #2 at 69.5". The CTP prize was a koozie with two Outback Steakhouse vouchers for a blooming onion and a sweet pair of DD stunna shades donated by the MSDGA.

- Next weeks CTP will be on #3. You must be within 15' of the basket to collect. 3's will take it out and 5's will return the CTP stuff.

- According to my research, a 42 is the best score at a Wednesday Night Doubles. Lots and lots of 43's but I didn't see any 42's or better. Whaaa?!?

- There were no ties for the cash this week.

- The 1st and 2nd place teams came off the same card (Jeremy Boyd and Taylor Jacobs).

- Whoever returned the "River", I met the kid and he was very appreciative. He said it was his favorite disc.

- Joe, the yellow Katana you found. He lives in Utah. He said we could keep it. I offered to mail it to him but he declined. You found it, it's yours if you want it.

- Will Jake Haskin's 13 weeks as the leader of WND be coming to an end?!? Tune in next week to find out folks...

- Lastly, in regards to my subtle hint of wanting to play a perfectly manicured course on 8-12-15. I'm going to ask that ALL the work be done at Kincaid prior to dubs that day. If not, you guessed it…

Thank you guys for all your continued support. It's easy to see that sticks and branches are being picked up during your round. Same thing goes with the trash if you saw how much Cas had in his bag Wednesday night. Kincaid is the best course in the state. Again, let's come together to give it our all and make her look her best. She is a beauty after all. See you out there!

- The Ace Fund is back to $0 as we're entering a brand new month. Chad Rutledge aced #3 week 10 for $126.

- Wednesday Night Dubs will be held up at Hilltop to keep the focus there. Same pay by 6:30. Same $7/10.

- Josh Stewart won the CTP on #5 by landing 14' 7" from the basket. I asked for 15'. Underachiever… :-) This weeks CTP's will be on #9 (10') and #18 (20').

- Nobody hit Yeti Dog's $200 bounty for the Flick-a-Disc. However, Jake Haskin won the CTP from the Soccer Ball to the Practice Basket for $50! The pot will continue to grow until it hits $400. At that point I'm sure they'll do the same $50 thing then reset it.

- Registration for King of the Hill CLOSES at 6:00 pm, Tuesday evening.

- Lastly, if you haven't heard by now, Jake Haskin's DG bag was stolen from his vehicle Sunday night. Just know that his bag and discs are out there somewhere. Keep your eyes open. Whoever took it would be a fool to try to use it in Alaska. Same with some of his discs. Especially his custom stamped discs. That he stamped!

Well, the weather was on point! I thought we'd have 40 in house. Thirty-five is pretty close though.

- The Ace Fund is up to $96 and belongs to only Chad Rutledge. Next week will be your last chance to get your share of it.

- The CTP was not hit so it will rollover to next week. We'll add some goodies to it also. It will be on #5 and will need to be within 15' to collect. The group that starts on #5 is responsible for taking it out. The group on #7 is responsible for bring it in.

- Andrew Revis won playing Cali. This is the first time during Wednesday Night Dubs since May 12th, 2010 (off the top of my head) that a Cali has been the outright winner. The last person to do so... Raggedy Andy.

- STOP WITH THE ALCOHOL!!! Some of you really have a problem. Sorry to bring this to light but it needs to stop. How hard is it to walk from your vehicle, attend a short player's meeting, then crack that bottle once you're heading to your hole assignment? We're talking you not having a drink of alcohol for 30-45 minutes. Pro Tip of the Day: Consider using prepaid leagues then hanging out in your vehicle until 6:30. At that point you can attend the player's meeting so you don't miss out on any valuable information and draw a card. That'll cut the time between beers by 15-20. You're welcome!

- Again, spotters are needed these days. Please use one on the holes you might need them on.

- And call 3 minutes too.

- This Saturday is the Trilogy Challenge at Alcantra.

- I was asked to announce that Hilltop will be holding their Saturday Sanctioned League at 11:00 for those of you not attending the TC.

- Upon completing #18, DO NOT walk up 1's fairway to get to the tee. I don't care if nobody is on the hole. Walk up the trail then cut across.

- Just a friendly reminder: On July 1st we will hold WND's up at Hilltop. The fee to play will remain the same, as well as the start time. That week will be devoted to Hilltop with : a Dirty Dollar Ace Race the weekend before (if I'm not mistaken), Tuesday Night League on the small course, Wednesday Night Dubs on the big course and then the tournament from Thursday through Sunday. Not to mention all the extras Rick will throw down.

To those of you who didn't show up because of the "weather", you missed out. Just sayin'! The weather definitely looked sketchy upon arriving but mellowed out once the player's meeting ended.

- The CTP will be on #4 tonight. The group that starts on #3 is responsible for taking it out. The group that starts on #5 is responsible for bringing it back in. The CTP is worth one prepaid league, possibly more.

- Som Bouasri won last weeks CTP on #3 for a sweet DGA Breaker sponsored by the Grouse himself. Thanks for hooking it up, Greg!

- Please remember that if you show up AFTER the cards have been drawn you will not be able to play. Prepaid leagues can save you from this. We had our first rejection last week. I hate to do it (especially to good people like him) but I set rules in place whenever there's a problem. Don't let this happen to you!

- USE SPOTTERS!!! In case you haven't noticed, Kincaid is all grown up now. Nobody likes looking for plastic... especially when you're not the one who threw it.

- The 3 Minute Rule is a good rule. Again, nobody like looking for plastic. Once the entire group is looking for a missing disc, I EXPECT someone from the other team to call 3 minutes. I know most of us are buddy-buddy but once you start slowing down other groups know you've done wrong. Call it!

Between rain and wind, I'll take the wind any day of the week! And boy did we have some WIND!!!

- First off, I gotta say thanks to Raymond and Gabe for becoming members of the ADGA. Welcome fellas! This brings our total membership to just shy of 50 of us!

- The ace fund is $31 going into next week! However, unless your name is Chad Rutledge, it's nachos!

- Chad Rutledge hit an ace on basket number 3. (Side story: I've witnessed probably close to 100 aces. Twenty-three of them are mine so that's no exaggeration. Chad's was without a doubt one of the sweetest ones I've seen! Between a nice throw and some help from the wind his straight shot had some ups and downs but again, it was very well thrown and well worth being on my Top 5 Aces list.)

- The CTP on #2 was hit by Jake Haskin, good for one prepaid league. Next weeks CTP will be on number 3. The group that starts on #3 is responsible for taking it to the basket. The group that starts on #5 is responsible for bringing it back to headquarters since you'll be the last ones to play #3.

- Just a few reminders:
The 3 minute rule is ALWAYS in play! Please use it!
No alcohol from the time you park until the time you and your group head to your hole. I'm positive you can go 20-30 without taking a drink. If you need that drink... use water, it won't hurt.
If you pick up your disc then head to your partners disc, you look for it, 3 minutes is called and expires, you would both re-tee for 3. You can leave that disc there or mark it with a mini. Marking it with sticks or rocks is NOT allowed. We had that situation on our card yesterday. It cost them in the long run.
Use last names! We have 4 Andrew's, 2 Brad's, 2 Brian's, 2 Jake's, 2 Greg's, 2 James', 2 Josh's and 3 Mike's.

Well, it wasn't pretty but it worked out in the end. Thanks to the 44 of you who came out to the first of 2 or 3 BYOP dubs. Apparently I goofed up when I tried to announce that we set a new WND record last night. Regardless, our record was 41 and is now 44! Thank you! Also, thanks to Som and Joe for the extra set of eyes in helping identify the problem which we figured out.

- The CTP was hit by Brad Beiser on #1. He landed inside the basket, well within the 10 feet I asked for. It was worth 2 drink tokens at the Trophy Lounge in Jewel Lake Bowl. Thanks to Cas for sponsoring that!

- So, yeah, there was an ace out there... actually, there were two of them. Brad Beiser aced #1. He is a member of the ADGA. Todd Weiler aced #14. However, he is not a member and will receive 3 prepaid leagues instead of his share of the pot. The ace fund is now split between Will H and Brad B. Since this was the last Dubs event of the month they will each receive $67 for their efforts. Again, it pays to be a member!

- There were so many people/teams there that more teams received 1 point than those who received 2 or more points, haha! That's a lot of people!

- Thanks to those of you who brought a new person out! I added 6 new names to our registration list. That's the most I've added at one time. That gives us 76 different people who have played at least one WND this summer! What if they all showed up one Wednesday? Dopers!

We'll be back to normal next week! One more thing: please give Mother Nature a big 'ole thanks! She was as beautiful as she's been this year!

Also, unlike in the past, I WILL allow 6-somes at this event. This is simply to keep from dealing with those of you who don't attend leagues regularly, have access to the internet, a smart phone or friends. Next, should anyone attend next week who "didn't know" this is a BYOP event I will partner those of you up. But still no Cali's at these events. Last person to sign up will not play. Sign up soon! Well, that was fun... SMH. We're entering week 6 and as a group I feel like we have yet to have a perfect league. Something keeps happening...

- Brian Cassidy won the CPT on #5 for a prepaid league. This weeks CTP will take place on #8 and you'll need to be within 10 feet of the basket.

- The Ace Fund has been reset to $0.00 with Kevin Gearhart claiming $46 of it and I get the rest. Kevin used his to become a member of the ADGA. As far as my portion goes, I'd like to buy Josh Stewart into his next 3 leagues and the club can have the difference ($99).

- Once again a group drew a heart, put their cards in my area then head to their starting hole (Mike Miles, James Beckner, Vlasy Kutsev and Eric Hepola). WHEN YOU DRAW A HEART YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GRABBING A SCORECARD! So, from now on, if your group doesn't grab a league issued scorecard you will be given a two stroke penalty for your entire card. All because of the person who drew the heart.

To continue with what was mentioned just above this: I received the suggestion of having people turn in a mini with their name on it when they pay. We would then put those in a bag, mix them up then I would draw two minis... those two are partners. Then again for the next group then all 4 would go to whatever basket I tell them. Although I do like the suggestion, if I can't get people to sign up to play after they've been on property for 30 minutes or grab their groups scorecard or listen to the announcements, etc, how the hell can I be sure that people who come out have a mini with them? On my card alone, 3 of 4 of us had a mini on us. I do like (and appreciate) the suggestion but with this being my last league running for the club we're gonna continue down the same path. After all, the system isn't broken...

- Because of last week, I will from now on require you all to sit/stand across from me and within the circle of me. Why? This way I can see and hear you all. I believe that going this route will hopefully allow you guys to hear me better. This way when we do roll call you should hopefully hear your name. If you don't, you'll hopefully hear me when I ask "DID ANYONE NOT HEAR THEIR NAME CALLED". And hopefully at that point you'll bring it to my attention so when we draw the cards there won't be anyone left out. Please tell me this makes sense.

Wow! What an exciting night it was!

- First things first, if you were there last night you were part of the largest league in ADGA history!!! Forty-one of us came out to enjoy the beautiful weather. Yeah, 41!!! That ups our record set at last years opener by 5... technically 6 since Tay Harling bought in twice.

- Adam Klein won the CTP on #4 by putting his disc 21" from the basket. The bounty for that was $20 sponsored by Andrew Engelking. Thanks for doing that Andrew! Adam, you didn't collect so I will use that $20 for 3 prepaid leagues. I'd imagine you'd want the same.

- Next weeks CTP will be on #5 and you'll have to be within 15' of the basket to collect.

- An ace was hit by Kevin Gearhart on his last hole of the day. He skipped into # 2's basket. Unfortunately he's not a member of the ADGA so he'll only get half of what was in the pot to begin with ($46). It pays to be a member folks...

- We are missing one scorecard from last night. This is the second time this year so before this gets outta hand let's go ahead and implement a new rule... From here on out, if your card isn't turned in upon the completion of leagues I will not give out any points to the folks on that card. If the names and scores aren't submitted within 24 hours of the start of the league I will simply omit that card... meaning no points, no credit for being there, none of that. Don't be that card.

- Mike Miles and Kevin Gearhart: You two left before getting paid out for your 4th place finish. You each got your money back. However, since you didn't collect your cash last night you'll each get a prepaid league instead.

- Som B, Thad M, Tom V, Taylor J, Jeremy B, Brian C, Mike M, Kevin G, Pat Z, Scott J, Luke M and Jake H: USE THE ENTIRE SCORECARD as announced for 3 weeks now.

- Thanks to the Valley crew for coming out. By my count there were 5 of you that drove in. I guess we shouldn't forget about the Kenai Kid (Tay the 12 year old). You guys are responsible for getting us over that year long hump of 36.

- A momma black bear and her 3 cubs were spotted kickin' it on 12's pro tee. Please be aware should you happen to be in the area. I've personally been playing Kincaid longer than all but 1 or 2 of you and I have YET to see a bear out there! :-(

- Same 6:30 start time next week. Please remember, I should have everyone checked in by 6:30. With about 5 minutes worth of announcements there's no reason we can't start our round at 6:45. That's why I announce the times like I do. All I need is your cooperation and getting things going won't be a problem.

- As the League Coordinator and Membership Director I've made it a habit over the last few years to ask the newbie's who come out to join us how they found out about us. I really appreciate those of you who willingly spread the good word. Keep it up!!! Ultimately, when we do this we're giving them two options: Stay away on Wednesday nights after 6:00 pm or preferably... join us.

- The course was still in the same setup as weeks 1-3 so all bounties are still live and well. We'll get some of the baskets changed around soon.

- To be honest, I forgot about the 40+ in attendance bounty I added on week 2 (and so did the other 40 of you). Since yesterday is done and over with I'll let that rollover to next week (last time though). Meaning we'll try it again next week. SO, if we have 40 or more in attendance next week we'll payout 6 spots (5th and 6th place will get money back. All others will take more than the suggest payout amount). Having this many in attendance is a nice thing. You should have seen Luke and Jake receiving their $32 each. You woulda thought those two just hit the lotto (which they kinda did).

- Once I get the scores from the card of Joe S, Dale W, Cas A and AJ H I'll post the scores. You guys have until Friday at 6:30 pm before I submit them without you.

Well, Mother Nature was definitely on our side last night! Twenty-eight of us showed up for a good time.

- First and foremost, I must apologize for messing up the cards last night. I had 24 in the deck and of course there should have been 28. Again, my mistake and it won't happen again.

- Chad Rutledge won the CTP on #3 and earned the 2 prepaid leagues.

- Next week's CTP will be on #4 and will be worth 1 prepaid league. You will need to be within 10 feet of the basket. The group starting on #5 is responsible for gathering the CTP bag as you will be the last to have a chance at #4.

- In regards to the CTP: last night as we were arriving to #17 we saw a group walking to #4 with the tape measurer from #3 in hand. I politely asked where she got that and she told me she found it on the basket. I explained what it was for and she said "oh, I'll just leave it here then" (between 3 and 4's baskets). I said "no, please put it back where you found it so the next group can use it." She seemed confused but one of the guys ran it back to 3's basket. As participants of Wednesday Night Dubs and users of Kincaid Park I expect ALL of us to serve as course marshals. If you see that happening, say something. If you see someone litter, say something. It's our course!

- The Ace Fund is up to $92! And still mine all mine!!!

- Luke, Russell, Shay and Derek: use the entire scorecard. Everyone else did, you should too :-) I know it wasn't Russell because his name was spelled wrong, haha!

- Shay and Derek reset the co-ed bounty by 3 strokes. Neg 11 is the score to beat there. Andy has the Cali bounty with a -8. Joe and Jake Haskin have the best score of the year with a -13.

- In regards to the bounties: some of the looks out there will be changing here soon. I didn't consider that upon our arrival to Kincaid. I'll handle this by taking away the money I would have given out and replacing it with prepaid leagues (one per person regardless of which bounty you hit). So, should you have the best score by the time the baskets move, you and your partner will be paid out then we'll reset it with the new looks and do it again until we switch it up again. If a Cali buys in twice (s)he will be rewarded two prepaid leagues.

- Have your money in by 6:30! I do ask that you're at the practice basket area no later than 6:35.

- We've had 48 different individuals attend a WND's event this year. I'm hoping the stars align soon. It sure would be nice to break that 36 from last year. Tell a friend...

- Lastly, thanks to the 11 of you who correctly used a prepaid league yesterday. It really does help our cause. I appreciate that! Keep them coming!!!

Today's CTP will be on #3 and is worth 2 prepaid leagues. However, you must be within 13 feet of the basket to qualify. The weather is looking kinda iffy right now but should be ready for our arrival. Should it be raining, please meet in the chalet or in front of the doors closest to the porta potty. It was another great time out there! The weather was lame all day until just before Dubs began. Isn't that how it usually is? Mother Nature likes us.

- We had 31 in attendance last week. Thirty-two this week.

- It sounds like my ace fund could have been shared a few times over. Jeremy Boyd was my partner and hit the top of #4 (then skipped 70'-80'). He hit the cage on #14 too.

- In the first two weeks we've had 42 different people attend WND's. Our record is 36 set at last year's opener. If we have an attendance of 40+ this month, I will add $50 to that night's pot and payout an additional two spots (in this case we'd be paying out 6 teams instead of 4).

- Thanks to the 7 of 8 people who used their prepaid leagues correctly. If you know you're gonna be at that night's league please send me a text or a message on here before 5:00 pm and I will add you to the list. Again, this way I only need to check in those without prepaid leagues. The sooner I get folks checked in, the sooner we can start. I really hope this makes sense. On the same topic, for those of you who do use your prepaids, please know that you should be on property no later than 10 minutes after the posted time (6:30 pm). Should you be much later than that just know that your partner will start without you and WILL NOT use Cali throws. Your partner can only be upset at you at that point. But I'm sure I'll get pulled into it somehow. :-)

I have an alarm set to go off every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm (just like last year and just like WNL's). This way you can be mad at my phone for you being late; not me. Thanks to the 31 of you that came out to the Wednesday Night Dubs season opener. If you're wondering, since 2010, 2015 is tied for the second highest season opener attendance. Our record opener was 36 set last year. Let's keep our average attendance above 30 for the season!

We had two new guys there also. We don't have flyers up yet so I need to thank those of you who led those two to us.

I appreciate the time and silence you all gave me during the announcements. When it's like that, we can get to playing a lot sooner. Thank you for that!

Nine of you renewed your ADGA membership so thank you for that. That brings our current member total to: 35.

Pat Zajac won the CTP on #1 for a future prepaid league. As announced the CTP will be on #2 next week.

Aaand an ace was hit by yours truly. With 5 weeks this month I'm really hoping nobody else hits an ace. Dollas, dollas!

Just a friendly reminder that tonight is the Random Draw Dubs opener at Kincaid Park. Please have your money in by 6:15 pm as I will be going over all the rules and bounties for this year. I hope to send you guys out by 6:30 but the way announcements have gone in the past I'll just send you guys out once we've gone over what we need to. Next Wednesday I will once again go over everything I have. At that point, hopefully everyone will be on board and all future announcements will last no longer than 5-10 minutes.
