Today will be the final Club (906) Tuesday doubles at PTP. It has been a good 3 year run. I wish the smoking chains much success in continuing Tuesday doubles@ the PTP.

I will park outside the gate to avoid the confusion with leagues. To any of the disc golfers who participate today there will be an additional $125 paid out tonight on top of Whatever is brought in.

Well here is what happened yesterday. The group of disc golfers known as the smoking chains has sketchily went behind my back and created a doubles league based of my format on the same day same time and same place as this league..The way this group handled this was the sketchiest thing I've seen in my 10 years if disc golf..Apparently anyone can run a league..Austin who has never moved a stick nor donated a penny to the course is in charge of the other Tuesday league..From what I gather a few of the idiots were upset about a mandatory $5 league fee for custom hand made bag tags..In a doubles league, the people on top the leader board are those who go every week and are semi descent. With bag tags any person can potentially become number 1. No need to go every week if you can't make it..The format they are.running is $1 per person every week gets taken out and goes to the top 5 players at the end of the season..This is just putting more money back into Austin pockets..I will not be supporting any of there leagues and any event if they hold one..I would recommend the same. I am going to continue running this league until the end of the month. At that point club (906) will switch to a Tuesday travel league in Mrqt county. I will also continue running events and trying to grow the sport..Last year I held a canned good tourney at Pioneer trail..I raised over 150lbs of food that was donated.to the rock food.pantry, and raised $50 for the course..I have donated over 100hrs of labor out there and over $300 in money to the course..Support those who support disc golf..leave the rest to be bested.
