Last week we had a season high 48 players! Nate Brown and WM took it down at Firefighters with a -14(WM I have your $70). Calvin Harris won the 50/50 for $44. The 50/50 for the season raised $501 for the Soup Kitchen and upcoming events, great work everyone! There was a free merch ctp from the Motor City Chain Gang and I wanna say Chris Bongo? Thanks! It was a great season, thanks for coming out and supporting the BSD league. The Bobis Ace Race is on 4/4/15 at Auburn Hills Civic Center Park. BOOM!! BOBIS!!!

After the membership cut off on 1/24/15 we finished up with 38(x10=$380) total members. We also ended the official league season with $1,360 in The Bobis Super Pool. $1,360+$380 adds up to $1,740 Added Cash for members only. If no member hits an ace during the 18 holes of regulation during the Bobis Ace Race we will play 9 more holes(this format will repeat itself until at least one member has hit an ace. The Regular Bobis Ace Pool will also be added cash toward the ace race but this money is added for all players that attend the event, $528! Even if you didn't make it out to a BSD all season, $528 is up for grabs for you too! We will cap this event at 120 players. Bobis Club Members have priority and after that it will be first come first served. The Bobis Ace Race will be held at Civic Center Park in Auburn Hills at 1:00pm on 4/4/15. We come together to remember Mike Bobis!

If anyone has old beat up plastic, I am looking for donations for my upcoming unit of Disc Golf in my PE class. I dont really care about the condition as long as it still takes flight. I do giveaways for a variety of games we play throughout the unit as well as donate to kids who have a genuine interest in the game once learning about it. That being said, Ill take anything (discs, stickers, mini's etc...). I appreciate anything anyone can give. And thanks to all of you who have already donated over the last few years and made this opportunity possible. I wouldn't have a unit to teach if it weren't for the generosity of the local disc golf community.

We will be using poker chips to determine teams for the rest of the season. This week be prepared to sign yourself in and include the side bets that you plan on getting into. Example, I will draw a chip, sign my name next to that number and write in my side bets. SP($4 super pool), A($1 ace pool) and 50/50. Again, it is $12 all in for members and $8 all in for non-members. Please try to bring exact change. Thanks guys and gals, see you Saturday at River Bends! We will be playing holes 10-27.

Next week we are scheduled to play at firefighters but this may change to River bends or stony creek. So keep your eyes on the scene, I'll have the course announcement up before Wednesday.
