CONGRATULATIONS to Aaron for the win for HMDG Summer League! Aaron edged out Chris by 1 point, 60 and 59 respectively. Aaron was throwing so well over the course of the league that he didn't need to show up this week OR he's out of town on vacation.

The weekly win went to Joe again at -5, 50. Tommy rounded out the day at -3, 52 and second place. Jeremy played pretty well, bearing his handicap and shooting a 57 raw score and 54 handicap for 3rd place. Pat made his monthly appearance and played to his handicap at a 56 raw score and 55 handicap while finishing 4th. Jim had a rough go today with a +6, 61 giving him a handicap score of 58. Cassie was next in the finishing order with an 86 raw score and handicap of 62. Mike finished this week and scored a 73 raw and 66 handicap. A returning disc golfer this week was Matt! Great having you out there and look forward to playing with you again. Score one more singles round to establish your handicap and fight for league points. Angela was able to throw 9 holes with her husband but had family obligations to attend to.

The birdie update this week will be pretty quick since Chris and Aaron were elsewhere. Let's see who gets there name in lights. Joe had 7 with a run of 5 in a row. Tommy spread his 4 birdies over the entire round. Tommy birdied the only par 4 on the course with a beautiful second shot that landed within the shadow of the basket. Jeremy's third place finish was aided by his 3 birdies. His birdie on hole 8 was at least a 50 foot approach. Great shot as his disc sank into the chains! Jim and Pat tied with 2 birdies each this week. Jim's drive on hole 8 was on the verge of an ace his drive landed just past the basket. He didn't even needed a full arm extension to drop his driver in for the deuce.

The handicap update this week as implications for the Greasers (Pool A) and Socs (Pool B) for the Random Doubles league that begins on Saturday, September 6th. Following are the players in the Socs Division: Staci (45), Alyssa (41), Cassie (24), Angela (16), Kyly (13) and Mike (9). Greasers Division: Jim & Randy (3), Jeremy (2), Pat (1), Tommy, Aaron, Joe & Chris (scratch).
