Well "Ypsi Dubs 2012 Summer League -={Church}=- Sundays" has wrapped up and I rambled on in the Tuesday league post so I'll try and keep this one shorter and to the Points....

Well 17 weeks of the Summer -={Church}=- league. As most know -={Church}=- league continues all year long so no reason to lose faith. Tuesdays will continue until we run out of light and the park close to early. Matt is looking to do Glow at Brown again this year.

Ok let's look at the season: 17 rounds, 134 unique players - 8 more players than Tuesdays that is a switch this year.

What does it take to be in the top overall? About 21 to 29 points on average each week and you probably need to play and average of 13.66667 weeks - well that is looking at the top three players.

Great season guys, way to set the bar and keep the pressure on all season. Since Sam, Mike, Ron and Framo already secured their berths and Smitty & Jake had to pass this year we are excited to be able to award the MDGO Michigan State Disc Golf Championship berth to Mike "Skip" Howard.

For the ladies -

Lisa Hartman - takes the top women's spot for Ypsi Dubs -={Church}=- and we are extremely happy that Lisa will be able go up to the State Championship this year.


We also plan on starting a Handicapped singles leagues soon. Disc Golf Scene is implementing some enhancements to help with handicapped leagues. Watch for posts on this soon. Remember that even when Tuesdays end you can keep in touch with "Family" and save your soul at ~={CHURCH}=~ on Sunday mornings all year long.

Just heads up this Sunday is our MiCPS Highlighted League of the Week - Double Points

We are gathering all the stuff to make this even more fun - so make sure to mark your calendar. We have a Innova tournament bag up for grabs and lot of other merch and $$$

We have ten Basket Raffle tickets available to us for this event. One will be included in the Pre-Round CTP. If you desire to purchase one let me know ASAP - first come first serve. I want to ensure those playing our league have a chance to get a ticket if desired but there is only 9 available.

Rolling Hills County Park

$6.00 to play per round - Includes the standard CTPs (we add a CTP for every 12 players registered for a given round.)
$2.00 - Optional Ace Pool ( $211+ - Pays out 1/2 - We are playing short tees)
$2.00 - Optional CASH CTPs, 100% & 50/50 cash payout

Pre-round CTP for a Gateway Titan Pro basket raffle ticket and a Innova Tournament Bag - maybe more.....
- Make sure your there early enought to get a few shots in on the Pre-Round CTP.

to players on Sunday. We normally have a few other "bonuses" on such special occasions so come on out

As mentioned at Church last Sunday there are tournaments at Rolling Hills and at the Ponds and the Grand Opening ceremony and events at Rolling Hills for the expansion. For those who indicated they wanted to play Dubs - brother Matt will ensure Church is in service but there will be a pilgrimage to Brown Park - (Mary Beth Doyle) with a special format. $5 to play (No CTPs), $2 special Ace pool (current ace pool will not be in affect) but if no Ace is hit then there will be a Ace pool throw off. DGLA - MiCPS points are in affect as always...

Also in the afternoon Night Moose will be at Willow to help cap off a complete day of local league doubles. I hope you enjoy the Disc'n no matter how you decide to play the day away.
