First off, thank you to everyone who came out during the 2025-2026 Fall/Winter season. We had several people with perfect or near perfect attendance during the entire season, which is truly impressive considering it was one of the more harsh winters we’ve seen in a number of years. Even with the brutal winter, we had nearly 100 different players join us for at least one round.

Secondly, please put your hands together for Kristen Clauder who took first place during this season! This win made WC Glow history as Kristen was the first female player to win a season! ::claps:: She ended the season with a 400 point total, took cashing spots 11 rounds & held the #1 league position since mid-November. Congratulations Kristen, you did an amazing job during this season & this one will not be forgotten!

Next, our season finale round was held on March 11th & was a chilly night but free from any precipitation. 28 players joined us that night to play a White-Red layout & they all had a chance at 9 CTP prizes! Sprow/Gacioch took solo first cash with a -13 score with Quiton/Roberts following close behind with a -12 & taking second cash. There was a 4-way tie for the remaining two cashing spots between Clauder/Reyes, Wolodkin/M.Kelly, Oid/Crouch & Joseph/Astro. All teams with -11 scores & deciding to split the payout evenly between them.

Lastly, we’re excited to start the 2026 Spring/Summer season on April 8th at Mary Beth Doyle. Per usual, registration will open at 7pm & will close at 7:30pm. The current forecast for next Wednesday is look fairly decent with temps around 45º at tee off & partly sunny skies. The new season is currently available to view on Disc Golf Scene, but feel free to reach out to Sprow or myself if you have any questions. There is some rain int he forecast, just depends if it falls on us or decides to move along to somewhere else. We will make adjustments to teepads in the event any are underwater.

Secondly, I will have a "Scottie Box" of things that may be of use to some of you. Feel free to take a look at the items and take one or two if they can be of use to you....Examples of box contents include a water bottle, minis, towels, disc retriever, a few t-shirts, etc.

Even with the threat of rain, we still had a great turnout of 32 players show up last Wednesday. The weather was a bit chilly, but the rain held off for us until we were all finished playing a round of BWR+RW. Hot score for the evening came from Brayton/Gacioch, shooting -14 & taking solo first cash! ::claps:: Second through fourth (last) cashing places was split evenly by 5 teams, all teams with -12 scores. Those teams included, Chapman/M.Kelly, Thelen/Watts, Oid/Weilacher, Common/J.Sennett & Sprow/Paquin.

Our final round of the 2025-2026 Fall/Winter season is happening this coming Wednesday, March 11th. As is typical for our final rounds of the season, we will plan to have CTPs on all 9 of the holes at Bandemer! The weather forecast is looking a bit sketchy as is currently predicted to rain all day, basically right up until league time. Hopefully it dissipates earlier that expected & doesn’t push into our round at all. We’ll be keeping an eye on the weather & will make any necessary updates via Facebook & DiscGolfScene if anything changes that would dramatically affect our round. A larger than originally anticipated turnout showed up for our league last night on February 25th. With the feels-like temp around 14º, a decent amount of wind & clear skies, 24 players made their way to Bandemer to play a round of WR+RW. This resulted in a tie for first & second cashing spots between Gacioch/Weilacher & Paquin/Joseph, both teams ending with -12 scores. Third cash went to Buse/Cooper, shooting -10. There was a 3-way tie for last cash between Clauder/Wolodkin, Sprow/Astro & Brayton/Merritt, all teams with -9 scores. A disc flip decided that Clauder/Wolodkin would walk with the payout.

More than double the amount of players came out for our league round yesterday compared to last weeks round. There were 34 people who came to play a BWR+RW layout with temps around 50º at tee off, which cooled down & some really heavy fog set in about half way through the round. Hot score for the evening was set by Brayton/Ms.Vick, shooting -13 & taking solo first cash! Well done you two!! Second, third & fourth (last) cashing spots got split between SEVEN teams, all with -11 scores. Those teams included, Gacioch/Joseph, Neal/Krumm, Wolodkin/Quiton, Fifer/Weilacher, Clauder/Ring, Chilly/Herron & Crouch/Chapman.

Congratulations to both Joe Arnet & Richard Thelen for getting aces! Both players hit Hole 2 from the Red pad, took home $90 each & added 30 points to their league standings. Great job guys!

Last week brought slightly warmer temps for our league round, especially in comparison to how things have been. No precipitation, melting snow & a full set of clean tee pads allowed the 16 people who came out to play a White-Red layout. Taking solo first cash with a -13 score was Sprow/Armstrong! Second cash went to Thelen/Buse, shooting -12. Last cash went to Weilacher/Oid with a -11.

For our round coming up this Wednesday (Feb. 18th) the course will most likely be rather messy. There is rain predicted most of the morning & the course will be thawing out with higher temps this week. It’s predicted to be around 50º at tee off on Wednesday, which will be a nice break away from the cold spell we’ve been having. Come prepared with your waterproof boots/shoes! I’ll be running league this week since Sprow will not be able to make it, so look for registration set up out of the back of my black Focus. After a week off of leagues due to very cold temperatures, we had a group of 21 players come out for slightly less cold temps & about 6-8” of snow on the ground. Thankfully the pads were clear & salted to ensure the safety of everyone while teeing off. Originally we had planned to play both White & Red pads, but after the warmup round we decided it would be best to stick with a Red-Red layout. This resulted in a 3-way tie for first through third cashing spots between Clauder/Krumm, Riddle/Wolodkin & Weilacher/Buse. All three teams shooting -14 & deciding to split the payout evenly. Last cash was taken by Gacioch/Thelen with a -12 score.

Current forecast says the temps could be around 30º (feels like 23º) at tee off with a chance of snow predicted over Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. While we encountered some snow earlier today which made the morning commute a bit longer, roads look pretty clear at the moment. We will plan to hold league night this evening at Bandemer.

I have not been on the roads to check just yet, and will not leave work until closer to 4:15. I have been checking in with folks and feedback seems more positive on the main roads. Some side roads may require more carefuly navigation.

Also, glow discs may not be the best idea with the amount of snow on the ground, but I will let you be the judge of that. We just don't want anything lost or taking excessive time to search for.

A little warm up & a thawed out course without the threat of icy pads brought out 23 players to Bandemer last week. We had temps in the mid-30s all night long which made for a good time to play a White-Red layout. This lead to a 3-way tie for the first through third cashing spots between Clauder/G.Fleming, Thelen (Cali) & Common/Blansett, all teams with -12 scores. With an odd payout amount they decided to flip for the extra cash, which lead to Clauder/G.Fleming walking with the majority. Last cash went to Krumm/Joseph shooting a -11.

We celebrated the New Year with a round of disc golf on a cold night & snow covered course last Thursday at Bandemer. A smaller group of 16 players came out and powered through the tough conditions during a Red-Red layout, which lead to a tie for first & second cash. Clauder/Oid & Thelen/Joseph both finished with -14 scores & decided to split the payout evenly. There was a 3-way tie for last cash between Sprow/Krumm, Quiton/M.Fleming & Weilacher/Mark, all teams shooting -13. The three teams decided to donate the $10 payout back into the ace pool.

The league round tonight (Jan. 7th) will be held at Bandemer with weather conditions looking half way decent. Temps are predicted to be a little above freezing all night & there is no precipitation forecasted during the round. An impressive turnout of 40 players joined us in a pre-Christmas celebration at Bandemer Park which included our Holiday Disc Exchange & a RW-WR layout for the round. The conditions were mild with temps around 30º all night & some slippery spots throughout the course after some higher temps earlier in the day. Taking solo first cash with a -14 score was Herron/Riddle! Second cash went to Burrow/Roberts, shooting -13. There was a 4-way tie for third through sixth (last) cash was between Brayton/Oid, Plantz/Kauder, Sprow/Murphy & Jopps/Joseph, all teams with -12 scores & deciding to split the payout evenly.

Congratulations Amos Kauder on getting an ace on Hole 3 from the Red pad! He took home $221of the ace pool & added 30 points to his league standings.

We had what was possibly the toughest conditions out of the past 3 weeks during our round last Wednesday. There was 4-5” of accumulated snow on the ground, temps around freezing all night & wind that didn’t seem to let up. Even with those conditions, we had the highest turnout of those past 3 weeks with 22 players coming out to Bandemer! We decided to play a Red-Red layout again since the conditions were rough & we didn’t want to keep everyone out in them too long. Hot score for the evening was -14 shot by Sprow/McMahon, taking solo first cash! There was a tie for second & third place between Weilacher/Joseph & Watts/Krumm, both teams with -12 scores & splitting the payout evenly. Last cash went to Thelen/T.Magner who shot -11.

You have the opportunity to participate in our annual Secret Santa Disc Golf exchange at our league round on Wed Dec 17th. This is completely optional, but also a lot of fun.

Bring a item, choose an item:

Bring a new disc golf related item/package approximately a $20 value-or more if you wish. A typical new disc value is around $16-$20. Please bring it wrapped/bagged (how fancy or partical you get is up to you. Discs should be new, non-inked, and un-thrown. Other items are welcome as well (such as towels, chalk bags, minis, shirts, etc).

If you do not have something on hand, I will have some club inventory on hand if you wanted to purchase something and participate. Reasonable pricing! I MAY even have some items pre-selected and wrapped for you (if time permits).

We will play our league round and then at the conclusion, gifts will be selected. We implemented a new idea last year where the lowest score (meaning the furthest from winning score) slects first. This seemed to work well so we will run with it again this year.

We will start from the bottom and work our way towards the top until all gifts have been selected. We have done this for the past few years and I think things have gone well. In addition to that, who does not like getting some new disc golf gear or accessories?

Our league round last week at Bandemer truly felt like a Winter round, even though it’s still technically Fall. The tee pads were covered with packed snow & ice when we first arrived at the park, but Sprow & I scraped & salted all of the Red pads before the round to ensure safe footing while teeing off. There was several inches of accumulated snow across the entire course & air temps around 30º-32º the whole night. 14 players braved the conditions & joined us for a round of Red-Red, which resulted in a hot score of -16, shot by Riddle/Joseph, taking solo first cash! Great shooting guys! There was a 3-way tie for the remaining two cashing spots between Thelen/Quiton, Sprow/Webb & Krumm/Weilacher, all teams shooting -13 & deciding to split the payout evenly.

The plan is to stay at Bandemer for the upcoming round on Dec. 10th, but there is threatening weather predicted during the day that could affect if we hold leagues this week. We’ll be monitoring the weather & road conditions on Wednesday & will post an update on DGS + Facebook either way, whether the round is canceled or not. We’re sticking with Bandemer for our round tomorrow (Dec. 3rd), which we tend to do when the weather is less than ideal. Speaking of which, the air temps are predicted to be around 28º all night & there will be several inches of accumulated snow on the ground.

Please be prepared for disc golf in snow with proper apparel, footwear & equipment. Glow discs & discs marked only with glow tape can be rather tricky to find if they get off the fairway or slide under the snow. We recommend using LEDs with these conditions & will have some available for sale.

WOW!!! Thank you to everyone who came out for a history making night of WC Glow League! We had a record breaking amount of players this past Wednesday at Mary Beth Doyle. In previous years, our highest attendance was 43 people, which was hit 3-4 times, but that record was shattered with 51 PLAYERS attending our round last week! Apparently everyone wanted to play glow under the super moon & damn, it was awesome! Our layout included Short Pads on the Front 9 & Long Pads on the Back 9, which lead to a hot score of -16 shot by Amos Kauder (Cali), taking solo first cash!! Incredible shooting Amos! Second cash went to Powell/Carroll with a -15 score. Third & fourth cash was split evenly between Riddle/Burrow & Thelen/Quiton, both teams shooting -14. Fifth cash was taken by Fulton/M.Magner with a -13 score. There was a tie between Binienda/McMahon & Trombley/Weilacher, both teams shooting -12 & deciding to split the payout evenly. A 3-way tie with -11 scores for last cash between Oid/Kim, Fifer/Lucier & Clauder/Wolodkin resulted in Oid/Kim taking the remaining $10 payout.

Tonights round (Nov. 12th) & next week’s round (Nov. 19th) will both be held at Bandemer park. The weather is looking pretty clear for this evening with temps in the high-to-mid 30s. Please come prepared for colder temps & we’ll look to seeing everyone out at Bandy tonight!

We experienced something last week that we had not seen before, A FULL league night.....like the registrations card was FULL. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it a very exciting night for us.

Also, many of you bought in for league membership ($5) which gets you 75% of the ace pool if you should hit that. Money collected in memberships will assist in the purchase/maintenance of league necessities (salt, batteries, lights, etc.) If you have not bought in for a league membership and are interested, please mention this as you buy-in for league. we will keep that going for awhile yet.

Going forward, we will institute a cap of 54 players. While I am not sure how often we might see those kinds of numbers each week, it does allow us to consider the capacity and feasability of league taking place on the courses in our rotation.

A mild fall evening with decent weather & no rain brought 32 players over to Mary Beth Doyle. We played a different layout that included Longs on the Front 9 with Alternate (middle) pad on Hole 6. Shorts on the Back 9 with Alternate (left) pad on Hole 11. A pair of -13 scores from Sprow/Roberts & Wolodkin/Buse took first & second cash, which was split evenly. There was also a tie for third & fourth cashing spots between Thelen/Cornell & M.Kelly/Smith, both teams shooting -12. A disc flip decided that Thelen/Cornell would take the majority of the payout. A 3-way tie between Chilson/Millner, Clauder/Ballios & Trombley/M.Magner with -11 scores lead to some disc flipping & which resulted in Chilson/Millner winning the last $10.

Our league round this coming Wednesday, Nov. 5th will be at Mary Beth Doyle under the super moon! Weather is predicted to be in the mid 40s with wind, but hopefully the sky will clear up for us before 8:19pm when it’s supposed to be the peak viewing time. 21 players powered through some mixed weather last week at Bandemer. There was on/off light rain & autumn-like temps in the 40s, which made a WR-RW layout a bit more difficult than normal. There was a 3-way tie for first through third cashing spots between Common/Raupp, Sprow/M.Magner & Brayton/Wolodkin. They did some disc flipping which decided that Common/Raupp would take the majority of the payout. Last cash went to Krumm/Blansett with a -9 score.

Secondly, Fall weather is here which means cooler temps and darker conditions. Please make sure that you are dressing for the cooler temps. Time to find those gloves and hats. We will have hard warmers available for purchase ($1) at league nights from here on out. We just restocked on LEDs as well.

Lastly, a few of you have been asking about WC Glow branded hoodies. I ordered a few blanks and will have them on hand for the next few weeks. If that is something you are interested in, lets have a conversation about getting one made for you. Prices will vary a bit as there is some varying levels of materials as well as what you decide that you want printed on them. Tentatively, we are looking $25-$50 for the options.

We are also planning a run of winter hats as well....we have not had those for the past year or two. Information available at league tomorrow on those as well.

We had some really good glow conditions for the round this past week at Bandemer. We played the B3-W3-R3 - R3-B3-W3 layout which provided a good challenge for the 25 players in attendance. Top scores on the evening included a pair of -11s by Blansett/Quiton and Sprow/Oid. Following closely with a -10 was the team of Weilacher/Paxton. Last cash saw a tie betweeen Thelen (cali) and Trombley/Lake. They decided to flip a disc for the cash, with Trombley/Lake winning that flip.

I also want to thank the Trommons for donating a glow Reactor for a CTP, as well as Richard Thelen for throwing $10 to the CTP offerings as well. Much appreciated and always a great surprise....Thank you!

Our second league round at Mary Beth Doyle during the Fall/Winter season continued the pleasant weather pattern. Air temps were much cooler than the previous week, but no precipitation fell on us during the round, so that was a win in itself! 28 players came out to play a Long Even - Short Odd layout which lead to a hot score of -14 shot by Quiton/Anderson, taking solo first cash! Second cash went to Blansett/Binienda, shooting a -12 round. Third & fourth cash was split evenly between Clauder/Sprow & M.Kelly/Redman, both teams with -11 scores.

There was a smaller turnout of 21 players that came to play a Long Odd - Short Even layout which resulted in a hot score of -14 that was shot by Sprow/Adkins, taking solo first cash! Second & third cash was split evenly by Blansett/Buse & Quiton (Cali), both teams with -13 scores. Last cash was taken by Clauder/Thelen, shooting -12.

We played a BW+R with warm air temps & no precipitation, trying to get some longer holes in while the weather holds up for us. Taking solo first cash with a -13 score was Chilson/Weilacher. Nicely done! There was a tie for second & third cash between Rusinek/Ballios & Adkins/Peters, both teams shooting -12 & splitting the cash payout. Brayton/Sprow & Blansett/Paxton also tied with -11 scores for the last cash & decided to split the payout evenly.

Thank you to the 28 players who came out to kick off the 2025-2026 Fall/Winter season with us! We played a BWR + WR layout at Bandemer under mostly cloudy & very dark skies. The conditions made for some excellent glow disc golf! Hot score for the evening came from Riddle/Krumm, taking solo first cash with a -15 score. Second & third cash was split evenly between Clauder/Watts & Jones/Joseph, both teams shooting -13. Last cash went to Jopps/Brayton with a -11 score.

Lindsey Watts started off her season with an ACE! She hit Hole 5 from the Red pad, took home $64 & added 30 points to her league standing which put her in 1st place overall for an early lead!
